In May of 1993, a woman by the name of Maria Rodriguez tried everything she could to be free of her ex boyfriends rage. She was finally ready to leave, but her life, and that of everyone living in her home, including her three children would be taken before she would ever get the chance. Rest In Peace to Maria Rodriguez, her children Billy, Jennifer and Linda. My deepest condolences go out to her loved ones. You aren't forgotten.

The fact that the man has a parole date is beyond bothersome. Justice has failed. He will have the opportunity to do this to others. My heart goes out to the family and those lost in this heartbreaking/traumatic situation.

That's exactly what drove me to make this video. I'm contacted quite often by people who have to see these monsters who've literally gotten away with m*rder. They live in their neighborhoods and live a normal life like nothing ever happened. Drawing attention to situations like this is CRITICAL when it comes these people possibly being released. With no attention, there is a good chance he will be at a yankee game in a few years like nothing ever happened yet again. The internet has power to change that. Nobody here wants that man free, EVER. I may not be a lawyer or work with judges, but I can certainly draw attention to this in a way they never will. People have voices, time to start using them.

Freestyle music is my favorite genre of all time. I was born in 82 but it was made popular again in the mid 90s when the lowrider culture was re-vamped and made a trend throughout the country. I never actually knew where it originated so I appreciate you for mentioning this in this video. I'm so glad I came across it today. Bless you Jose, for sharing and documenting the history of your culture and where you're from.

You did a great job of telling this story. This is the second time I have heard it and it's taken me 10 minutes to recover enough to comment. My chest is tight and my ears are pounding with a heartbeat, just like that was taken from them.
Thank you for bringing this story into the present consciousness. When that person gets out of jail he will be more easily identified in a world in which he will have little understanding. The age of the internet.

    Such a sad story.😔
I'm Mexican American from the south side of Chicago.
My ex boyfriend didn't beat me but when I left my ex boyfriend for his excessive cheating, I left our apartment without him knowing.
I packed up all my things when he was "with her" and left and moved back to my neighborhood and never looked back!
People told me my ex boyfriend was looking for me after that.
He eventually found out where I lived and moved down the block "with her" and would pass by my apartment and would see me with my new boyfriend and he would shout out my name over and over and laugh.
Thank God my new boyfriend has no clue who he was. I lied and told him I didn't know who he was because I was so scared.
After that, my ex boyfriend even sneaked in at my birthday yard party uninvited while I was with my new boyfriend and he had this evil look in his eye.
He would also come to my apartment drunk looking for me calling my name.
Thank God he moved far away "with her" before he did anything crazy and I haven't seen him in over 20 years!

The respect pride n graduate for your heritage should be commended and acknowledged.. In regards to the case, its very sad seeing a good person as well a sweet n kind loving mother doing everything she can too proved for her children. Have her life taken like that along with her children.. I wonder if a petition too keep someone like Romon in prison could be started.?🤔

Today I suffer anxiety when it comes to the mass shootings, especially in our schools, stores, places of worship etc…

April 15, 2003 my Great Aunt was returning home from having dinner with her sister, only to find her ex-boyfriend sitting on her front porch. When she asked him “why are you here??” He drew a revolver, shot her in the head and then turned the gun on himself!! She was moving to a new state the next day. These tragedies happen far too often!! It’s even more tragic when children are involved!!
