Good review, but i’d like more comparisons between the various versions (standard, pro, and SL). There’s hardly anything out there about the $359 SL version, which comes in at a great price but uses a different ESC and cuts a couple corners. I’d like to hear more about how that one rides.
The deck looks identical to the Boosted Mini - reliability of the remote in high RF interference zones would be a good test for cheaper boards, there are areas in NY where Boosted Gen 1 remotes used to cut out, but then they fixed it with the higher power bluetooth radio's - this board looks awesome, is the braking the same as Boosted's with a smooth brake, hill hold, reverse logic? Only a few boards really copied Boosted well, even with the same looking thumbwheel controller - some manufacturers just didn't undesrstand hilly riding needs and would cut the power at 1 mph making a steep down kill brake sketchy, whereas boosted would keep the power on and could hold you on a down hill stop at 0.
Im planning on getting the 393 wh to commute to work which is 8 miles to go and 8 miles back. Some videos are saying it last 13 miles only but advertised as 26 miles range. Im just so confused
No. 99 Wh is the limit on most flights, but I think the US has upped it to 160 Wh for domestic flights - but triple check, I'm not sure - so it's close, but still over - I also think you need to remove the battery from the device, I don't know if that's possible. If thats something you want to do, tracking down a used Boosted Mini S (not X) would in theory be allowed. 99 Wh battery.
i think the only small board like this you can take on planes is the Exway Wave with the 99wh travel battery. It has removable battery packs so it’s easy to swap them out, they come in 99wh and 180wh options. you get around 6 miles and 12 miles of range out of those, respectively

The Tynee Mini 3 has an app for more features. It seems like the board is a step above the budget option.
