Thanks for the informative video. I see that you are draining the condensation line into drain tile. Is the drain tile connected to a sump pump or does it drain to the earth below through the slots in the drain tile? Thank you.
Hi Atom! Thank you for watching the video. The condensate line actually attaches into the drain that leads to the exterior of the foundation. It was a drain that was already installed in the footing of this home. This was an easy way for the water in the line to exit the crawlspace. I have had to sump pump the condensate line out on other homes but this one wasn't one of those. Thank you so much for watching. 👍
Great video and installation explanation. Did the rack base also come from Home Depot or was that one you fabricated?

@@AnX8765 I get what you are saying about harmonics. If this was a larger unit that caused more vibration you might have that issue. I've installed about 10 of these now and have not had any complaints with noise whatsoever. I'm believing that the stability of the rack along with the anchoring of the allthread makes it a pretty stable unit and vibration is next to nil. A larger unit that produces more decibels and vibration might require more soundproofing and rubber washers to dampen the effects👍
What diameter is the hose? I have one on the way and where im gonna have it at will need a longer hose also so I’m trying to go ahead and buy before it comes in!
Hi! Thank you so much for watching the video. I used 1/2" PEX and I attached it to the tubing that came with the dehumidifier. Now AlorAir machines don't last long bc they are not made in the USA but PRC.
They have a 5 year warrenty
Essential "5 year" warranty facts:
* If the unit is less than six (6) months, the company will pay for the shipping costs provided that the warranty claim is valid. Otherwise,customer shall pay.
* If the unit is 6-12 months old from the date of purchase, the customer covers the shipping expense to send the product back to Baseaire facility. The rest will be covered by Baseaire warranty provided that the warranty claim is valid.
* If the unit is more than a year but less than three years, the customer will pay the shipping costs regardless if the warranty claim is valid or not.
* If the unit is more than three years, the customer may still send the unit back but ONLY FOR COMPRESSOR REPAIR. In this case the customer is obliged to pay the shipping cost as well as the labor.
