Jake, one thing that sets you apart is your ability to keep track of when a player needs to reload, their possible loot and what they are more likely going to do next. I’ve no idea how you knew that player had EMPs! Might need to start paying more attention to things like that, as it gives you such an edge

For real. I’m not one to complain about seasons cause I actually like that they try things to keep the game fresh. But I’m struggling with this one

This season seems to have a lot more medallion hunters than normal. Every time I've killed doom I have finished the fight in storm after having a "3rd party off" with at least a couple of other players.

It stands out against a lot of others because you tailor basically all of it as actual relevant and useful lesson learning tutorials not only for tactical tips but also your insight as a very good player to try and help us improve. The best counter to the iron man gloves is to play Reload
Even prospering has a very hard time fighting against that gloves
The good damage and lock on makes that fight ROUGH. It’s easy the most annoying item this season so far

@@raptor8265solos is really the only way I can beat someone with the gloves especially if I have my kitted striker ar it's just if there's a duo trio or squad and even ONE of them has the stark gloves it's over

I find that iron man combat kit isn't bad on the ground but it gets bad when they have a jetpack
I think the repuslors are super OP when jet packing and when fighting someone jet packing
Honestly yeah but they also counter the crazy jet pack movement some people have so it’s a when in Rome scenario
i WAS really enjoying this season until the auto aim ironman gloves came in... :( unfortunately my aim is nowhere near as good as yours jake, so i'm losing a ton right now, but i refuse to join the tony stark lovers

The iron man update is just another annoying addition to help low skill players feel better about playing the game.
Epic can't keep up with the cheaters and hackers, so the new items were introduced to combat that. Now the only ones complaining are literally hackers, lol 😆 😂 🤣 😅 🙃 🎉🎉

Been abusing the Ironman boots going super high up then switching to the gloves and hovering high above with the jet pack and waiting for the Ironman lock on and just getting free damage.

I think at this point in time theres really no way to properly counter the iron man repulsors, we might just have to wait until epic does something about them and hopefully nerfs it

I was playing solos a lot in c5s1-s2 when my friends weren’t playing at all, but now after they joined again after long break I don’t wanna play solos anymore at all 😂
I agree with all your criticisms of the iron man boots, but I just love blasting around the island with them. So much fun ❤
You can also combine all three movement items and literally stay airborne the whole game

I eliminated a player and he dropped Iron Man's gloves, Doom's gloves, the Iron Man boots, and also that doohicky that sits on your shoulder and shoots automatically. When in Rome....This season is all about piling OP item upon OP item. I no longer fight it. I pick up every piece of OP junk and blast the crap outta people. It's not that fun, but I've got no choice. The Devs for Fortnite are like the Greek gods. They have no intention of making life "better"; their motivation is to make our lives as vexing as possible.
The boots and the doom gloves aren’t OP, but when you don’t have both shield bubbles and a jet pack it’s a rough fight that their going to win. The repulsors are really OP and the fact the that the Uni-beam goes through cars if you hit them on the driver’s side is insane
You basically have to in solos to do good, which is why I prefer squads far less stressful and fun.
Why fight it. The meta is always the junk. Avatar stuff, marvel stuff, cars magneto gloves. I like learning to get better with guns for when I don't have stuff, but instead of complaining just use the stuff, or play a different game or reload.
Aw man I was hoping for one of these, playing against the new iron man loot has been painful, needed to see you do it.

In solos i carry the striker burst and try to start all of my engagements further out, only pushing in when i have the HP advantage
Honesty with the unibeam, I used it for one game, and it would land at a enemy's feet and not hit them, not worth using

W EJ! agree the iron man boots are good to travel but not good for fighting, jet pack is way better. The gloves on the otjer hand are a problem and so OP unless youre an awesome player like you who makes light work of them with great movement and aim. But I get why Epic introduce this stuff to keep the game interesting with new content etc and if they didnt do that peops would complain the game is boring and samey so what ya guna do. Couple things. I was playing duos last night and my teammate and I took Doom island. When he became Doom I could not longer see my load out. Wonder if Epic is aware of this bug. Also, bro lvl 266!!! Do you purchase levels or is that all earned?

Sheild bubbles should just be removed. It doesn't protect against ironman or doom wepons. I was allmost killed by a doom thanos boss his attacks went through the sheild bubbles. Makes it a poitless item to use or carry imo. 😅
This season blows! Why not make a separate game mode for all the super hero crap. Literally got killed by a guy who had all the gauntlets and then had the audacity to dance on me like it took any skill!

What do I think about Iron Man's inventions? Here we should recall all the legendary weapons in this season. The fact that the game is a game can reflect real life. After all, to power them, you need a lot of power. A certain Russian has already made a prototype. So, following the logic. The battery runs out and that's it. The same way, cars fly from 50 meters of rocks and nothing happens. And since you use cars to a large extent as weapons, they should break down and that's it. If they are already making these legendary weapons, it is worth considering different variants and not packing "because it will work". And they have the effects of such an addition

iron man gloves plus war machine jetpack is a broken combo. I've been winning games easy af if I can find those two items early on. I even managed to kill doom on my own with that combo

6:45 I honestly thing even when you are full shield you should destroy these barrels. Now, evolve Jake is full hp. No bueno if you’re anyone else in the lobby, any fight can end with you having 10-20 health
