How do you have it wrap around the top of the circle but still read the text from left to right?

I just did everything you did- exactly... and when I click on text on a curve, it doesn't curve my text. nothing happens. I selected the 2" circle vector AND my single line text and it's not working... what am I missing?

This is unrelated to this video but can you tell me how to carve a flat square with a triangle on top like a teeter totter if that makes sense thanks in advance if you con help
