Also have tp-link mr150 no problem using the sim on phone but with the router it doesn't work its a reloaded 599. Maybe it just works on new sims like what you do. Hayst
Iba na kasi yung promo ng smart ngayon. 😞 Yung 999 lang yung gumagana sa router namin. Yung 599 pang phone lang ata. Dati 499 lang, okay na lahat eh
Yeah para walang issues, subscribe to family plan unli 999... sulit parin naman, considering up to 32 gadgets tapos 30 days. It is still more affordable than having a postpaid plan.
Hello question, since you use new rocket sim every month, does it mean po na hindi nyo na din nire-reuse yun mga old rocket sim dito sa MR150 nyo?
Hello, we stopped using new sims nung Feb or March 2023 yata. We just subscribe to the UnliFam promo na lang kasi di na gumagana yung new sims, but if we subscribe to unlifam, it works seamlessly.

@@localdoodler hindi po namin sure, marami kasi kaming original na 499 rocket sim so yun muna ginagamit namin (dahil nung bago pa lang yung rocket, hindi pa malinaw kung pwede mag reapply ng unli data so bumili kami ng marami)
My tagalog is not that good though I tried to follow your video. Can you tell me why you don't use the default APN?
I used to pick a different APN if the default was not working or too slow.
Currently, the default is working well, I haven't changed the default for months (but I use a new sim each month).
@@thefamilyquinto That's my problem as with everyone else. New SIM every 30 days. I just tried reloading in my smartphone then transfer back to the MR150, still no internet 😩
@@petermccool9396 yeah unfortunately, Smart changed its promo. I used to be able to subscribe to a new 599 unli data plan everyone month using just one sim.

Hello, I have not tried the new 599 unli data subscription kasi nakita ko nakalagay na for individuals lang.
Since nagbago ang rules/promo ni Smart, we've been using new rocket sim na 599 each month.. gumagana naman sa router.
@@thefamilyquinto yes po. Tried on a new rocket sim (another rocket sim). Same din nangyari. Mukhabg hindi allowed sa router abg unlidata 599. Nilipat ko sa phone, mukhang nablock na rin. :(
@@nivlheim09c97 aww sayang naman. For some reason samin gumagana ang new sim each month and I'm hoping it continues to do so. Btw, did you register the sim to giga app? We don't. Basta new sim, insert and we do not register to the app. It just works.
@@thefamilyquinto ah. yes. for the new sim without registering, it works. but once registered and subscribed to giga unli dat 599, there the blocking begins.

Yes Smart Rocket Sim still works po. We subscribed to Unli Family Plan 999 and no problem.
Try nyo magpalit ng band. Kung ano malakas/mabilis sa area nyo
try ko hanapin sa settings hehe

Yes ginagamit parin po. Unli fam plan Smart Rocket Sim.
Hindi yan gagana kapag nag reload ka ulit ng Unli Data, dapat mo munang palitan yung IMEI ng router na parang sa phone na IMEI
Wala naman po kaming pinalitan na IMEI and it works for us
Good for 5 person pwede po?
We have an openline router, so up to 32 devices ang pwedeng mag-connect. Not really sure what you mean by good for 5 person :)

Yes Smart Rocket Sim still works but since this month, we subscribed to the Unli Family Plan 999 after the first 30 days is over

Thanks for the reply. I just came from the smart store in the mall. I tried to purchase their fam sim and they told me that it'll only work with their smart modem. Is it true?
@@AmenaElSheikh We're currently using the Rocket Sim using this router then subscribed to Unli Family Plan, but it is 1100+ now
