Dumbledore walking away alone while everyone else is having fun at the wedding made me sad, but it was perfectly fitting for his character.
Dumbledore has condemned himself to the path of eternal loneliness. That's what's really sad.

Jude Law is perfect as Dumbledore, It's really sad that he doesn't think he deserves to be happy.
the new actor who replaced Depp -- I really like him. His interpretation of the character is exactly how I imagined Grindelwald. I just think Depp was a little too flamboyant, almost risque for the role. Don't get me wrong, he's a great actor... in the right roles.

This was the scene I cried hard.... my mask totally soaked 'cause i cried that much... i cant control my emotion in this sequence........ tina and newt, jacob and queenie...... their love shows how love should be described in the film. they love each other equally. no one side has the control. this is the legacy that joan left to us.....Anyway, most of all, the reason i cried was Dumbledore. I've spent a day what Dumbledore was thinking watching their wedding. he just looked at them at the window... there are life that Dumbledore gave in for magic world... his love, family,,, and he walked alone and the film ends. So a beautiful work.... i'm stil crying writing this..... what a beautiful music james newton howard made and look david yates expressed...

This song is stunning!! It made me think of how Dumbledore was watching the wedding thinking of what he would never have with the man he loved, it's such a bittersweet song :(
Say what you will about these movies, but Jude Law and the writers have nailed Dumbledore's character perfectly. It's summed up in this end scene tbh

@@j.c.t. I’ve been reading the rumors about this franchise ending and I strongly disagree with them. If WB cancels this series, they’ll lose trust in any future WW project they attempt. That’s a big profit loss.

Agreed it is bittersweet. It's tragic that Dumbledore was blinded temporarily from not just how he was during his younger years but also what that eventually wrought from his relationship with Grindelwald. However, I think he more than made up for it to an extent, despite Snape stating in a manner of how Harry Potter was raised but in a sense...to Dumbledore's defense, he knew something that Harry began to understand that Voldemort lacks (which was stated in the first book).

I think they should end it there. Personally they'll never top this ending. It's both emotional and satisfying. Seeing Dumbledore sitting there, alone...accepting it.(the lost of his love life and how it should have been) while seeing a wedding ceremony in front of him.
Then, he gets up and moves on with intent to finish what he started, knowing, the danger is far from over.
Absolutely beautifully done!

I loved this scene so much. Aside from the Newtina scene, it was quite powerful about Dumbledore too. Seeing the wholesome "ending" just shows he couldn't have the same ending with Grindelwald 😭

There is only one aspect of this movie that I would like to give a negative review... the absence of Johnny Depp. I'm not saying that Mads Mikkelsen is a bad actor. He did a great job, but I missed Johnny a lot. Other aspects are perfectly fine. I really enjoyed it. I loved the ending. This music is perfectly match with the ending.
