if ol girl is anything like Coach Prime's ex wife..... idk. Prime only made it out of that because he was the 1% of the 1% as usual. But seeing how this young man talks so optimistically I hate to say it, women will absolutely be his downfall as a athlete. Its why they tell you to hold off on that stuff until 25+ when we were division 1 athletes in college. Every coach, every mentor, even the spiritual counselors of your faith all tell you to tread lightly because all things that look gold are usually far from it. the type of rules she made him take as if she was the man in the relationship means the moment he slips up because he is human she will have ZERO grace for buddy especially since she already didnt like him from day one. Those are her words, she legit had buddy on the DND list until she heard news of his sports accolades in the exotic dancer club she worked at.

Then last year the excuse was he’s not winning, durable or elite at either position.
This year he led the BIG 12 (pause) in receptions, TD and pass breakups. Colorado was one game away from playing for a conference championship and earning a playoff spot.

Why Travis Hunter Deserves the Heisman Trophy
Travis Hunter's detractors argue that his two-way accomplishments are not unprecedented, but a deeper analysis reveals that what he is achieving is truly unique and historic. Let me address this with a comparative lens and contextual evidence.
    The 2,000-Yard Rushing Argument
Rushing for over 2,000 yards in a season is undeniably a remarkable feat, but it is far from unprecedented. In fact, 26 players in FBS history have achieved this milestone, with some, like Troy Davis, doing so in consecutive seasons. While this accomplishment reflects athleticism and dominance, it has become a recognized standard for elite running backs rather than an extraordinary outlier. Running backs like Barry Sanders, Derrick Henry, and Melvin Gordon have reached these heights, and their contributions are indeed celebrated. However, the sheer number of players to have achieved this feat demonstrates that it is a repeatable accomplishment within the right systems and with sufficient opportunities.
    Why Travis Hunter Stands Out
Travis Hunter’s performance on both sides of the ball redefines what it means to be a complete football player. He is excelling at two physically demanding positions-cornerback and wide receiver-at an elite level. While there have been notable two-way players in the past, such as Charles Woodson, none have matched Hunter’s consistent production on both offense and defense.
    Snap Count and Productivity
Critics may dismiss snap counts as "not stats," but Hunter's ability to maintain high-level production over such an extensive workload is unparalleled. Few, if any, players in modern college football history have consistently contributed as a lockdown defender, a dynamic playmaker on offense, and a game-changing presence in crucial moments.
    Historical Context
Players like Charles Woodson, who won the Heisman in 1997, are often mentioned as comparisons. However, Woodson’s offensive contributions were occasional and largely overshadowed by his defensive dominance. Travis Hunter’s dual-role production is significantly more balanced, with substantial contributions in receptions, receiving yards, touchdowns, and defensive statistics such as interceptions and pass breakups.
    Impact on Team Success
Beyond individual statistics, Hunter’s influence on team dynamics and game outcomes cannot be overstated. His presence forces opponents to game-plan for him in ways that single-role players rarely require, making him a true force multiplier.
    Rarity of the Achievement
While many running backs have rushed for 2,000 yards, how many players can claim to have excelled in over 100 snaps per game, covering two distinct skill sets at an elite level? What Hunter is doing is not just rare-it is transformative for the sport.
Conclusion: A Unique Case for the Heisman
Travis Hunter’s season represents a singular achievement that transcends the traditional metrics used to evaluate college football players. While rushing for 2,000 yards is commendable, it is a well-trodden path. In contrast, Hunter’s ability to impact games on offense and defense at a high level is not only unprecedented in recent history but also redefines what is possible in college football.
The Heisman Trophy is awarded to the most outstanding player in college football. Given his unique contributions, productivity, and historical significance, Travis Hunter is the embodiment of what the Heisman represents.

Here’s why Travis is the athlete who can play both sides in the NFL:
    He’s not like everyone else.
    He’s set apart.
His purpose, rather he even understands it or not is to infiltrate the sports industry for the better of people who look like him.
God has fashioned him and this is bigger than him. God will give him the ability to do everything that is required as long as Travis never loses sight of Him.
    Staying humble is key.
He has a favor on his life that we have not seen before and I truly believe that God will remove anyone who tries to interfere with his destiny.
I’ve spent years praying to see someone like Travis in real life. This dude is more than an athlete. He’s a world changer.
He can do and will do anything that he sets his mind to do.
He’s a true gift from God. He’s going to make the world a better place for a lot of people. He’s the answer to a prayer.
He will do well. I look forward to seeing him show out. May God get all the glory 🙌🏽🩵

Talk about the “GOATs” of podcasting! I love to see the fact that these men use logic and reasoning while questioning the guest. They give each other the opportunity to both ask their own questions and respond, in addition to highlighting each other. They also consider their guest as the whole of who they are, while addressing current events! They truly do their due diligence and show what it means to evolve & pursevere in the journey of life!

What he and SHE has to understand is that in the NFL, she can't be everywhere with him and she can't be the reason he doesn't interact with folk. At the end of the day HE IS THE golden goose. I pray that she gets understanding in their process of growing. The other thing... Coach Prime told them at their last team meeting, the NFL WILL have investigators all over them from this point until the draft. They ARE going to ask him about the same things but not in such a nice tone as RC did.
