Rebecca was born in the village of Pontrhydyfen near Port Talbot, which was also the birthplace of Richard Burton and Ivor Emanuel. Must be something in the water there to produce such talent!!!
Gorgeous. I listened to various renditions of this composition on youtube. This one transcends by the artists letting their spirituality lift the music to a higher plane......I might add, they need to pass out cough drops before any concert. A nearly perfect gem marred by an inconsiderate oaf in the audience.
Love Mrs. Evans' beautiful voice. She makes it look easy. Rhydian is also great. I liked this almost as much as I liked Katherine Jenkins rendition of this piece with the great Welsh baritone.
@skillofdacentury I fell in love with Mrs Evans after hearing her "Panis Angelicus" rendition. Her voice is so perfectly in tune and of such pure tone that it captivates me. I also learned that she is a Grammy winner. There should be an even higher honor for her!
u.u. Bellísimo!!
OMG - They sound so good together. So pure and their harmony is amazing.
