You should do cream products a few months later. Which ones hold up. Thought of this today when I pulled out my neutral DM Groundworks palette. I bought it about a month ago and it’s completely dried out now. I put my brush in and picked up a huge hunk of the cream shadow and hit pan and I’ve used it less than 5 times. Was lovely when I got it and it’s already unusable. I know it’s hard to review older makeup but would be helpful to know which expensive products actually last as all the reviews were positive!
I love your honesty and no filter reviews. You’re not the usual influencer who says everything is “amazing.” It helps us to put our hard earned money to quality products that do what they say they’re gonna do.
Products from ND almost never preform the same as in her own videos, the same with PMG products. I get that the brand wants their ads and promo videos/ pics to entice people to buy the products. Sometimes they just goes to far and it ends up with customers feeling deceived and unhappy.
One of the shades from the Xenon palette literally unpacked itself completely with a light tap from my brush today. I am quite disappointed. Then my PM celestial palette matte shade creased after a few hours of wear 😒
Disappointing to see how dry both of the expensive pressed powders performed. Thanks for always showing your “dry” ladies a close up view! So helpful! 😘
Thank you for the second/third chance reviews! So many YT’s just do a first impression and never follow up. I think both the Laura Mercier and the Hourglass powders are formulated for the face and not the under eye. I’ve found that most pressed powders don’t do well under the eye; for that I like loose powders. Loose powders are so much lighter and airy.
Thank you for saying that about the Rare Beauty blush! I immediately ordered RB Cheer when it launched. It arrived shattered to dust. I kinda spread the dust around and thought, oof, this isn't for this textured-skin girly! Contacted Customer Support and the only thing I could get was a replacement. 3 weeks later I have a new Cheer blush, but no desire to use it. I'll probably use it as a topper occasionally. Maybe eyeshadow from time to time. 🤷🏼♀️ Love your honesty!!
@@denisesheffield481 ordered off of Rare Beauty directly. Can only exchange it. I don't have a big Sephora close by and went directly to the site. Last time I will do that!
I have texture and I use it as a standalone without issue. Maybe it has to be one of the deeper shades, but they seem to have enough pigment to handle not emphasizing texture.
Seamlessly whipping out that fancy red fan to help the e.l.f. mist evaporate was so perfect! Thanks for testing out the Rare Beauty blush so thoroughly. I was really tempted. But now that I'm older my skin is textured. It wouldn't have been flattering on me. I love the way you placed it. It reminded me of how we used to apply blush back in the '70's :)
Pixie has a blush and highlighter in that deodorant stick style packaging, too. The skin tint contains corn starch, which may not be the best ingredient for someone with dry skin, since it can have oil absorbing properties.
You are so cute, Morgan! the look you created today looks very nice. Maybe up close you don't like it but on camera it looks good. It is always a pleasure to see you try products and give your impressions of them. Trying new makeup can be fun. Thank you for the video.
Hi Morgan I have been so obsessed with my rare beauty powder blush in happy so so much! I prefer to use it with a pointed highlighter brush! Right over another powder blush as a highlight and it makes me look soooooo glowy! I prefer the precision of a smaller brush❤️
I doubt you'll read this because but I have to say I appreciate all the Sephora videos. Please don't apologize! I wait until Rouge kicks in to buy new makeup and I spent a lot, so I def want to see people reusing their haul! The Pillow Talk Fair looks so pretty on you. Also thanks for being so entertaining. I look forward your product testing videos and your honesty. 🙌🏼
You might not have felt that mist, but it immediately melted all the powders in your skin and made the products you're wearing look not dry at all! I'm picking that up because I've been looking for a setting spray with a fine mist to replace my Houglass setting spray mist. I really like the HG but the fragrance smells like the product is expired even on a brand new bottle. I like the Morphe Continuous Prep & Set too but I really want to give the Elf one a try!
I just love your reviews. So detailed and honest, I really appreciate your unvarnished opinion. I wanted the rare beauty blush so much but after seeing it, I've changed my mind. ❤
I didn’t get the RB blush due to polarizing reviews. I prefer Milanis Luminoso as a blush topper. I love how in depth your reviews are. They’re the best Thanks Morgan.
Thank you! Love that you’re giving more chances to the products you’re unsure about. If you decide to give the hourglass one more try, haha… I find it looks more blurring & less powdery when I use the puff that it came with. And I only dab/tap it once into the powder for each side of the face. You barely need any :) But I know products work differently on everyone, so no worries if not! Just thought I’d share one last tip 😆
Yes Morgan, we want to see all the things! ❤ Appreciate your opinion to tmi/tmo! Going to have to pass on the RB blushes sadly. I decided what i really want is a subtle glowy sheen but that a different product is what i need to get that.
I returned the rare beauty luminous blush. It did nothing for me. It just sat on top of my skin and looked dry. I like my charlotte tilbury Lovegasm palette better for a blush topper for my skin. 34, but I have very good skin and it still didn’t work for me
40 years old with dry skin and some lines. I haven't had those issues with the Saie concealer. I was previously using the Haus concealer, and I prefer the Saie. I do usually set with the Hourglass veil translucent loose powder, but I THINK I've also not set it. 🤔 Now I'll have to specifically try not setting it and see what happens. 😆
You look so pretty, as per usual, Morgan😍😍!! Appreciated watching you demo these products another time. I actually quite like the Natasha Denona highlighter product❣️❣️Happy long wknd to you & Jose🤗🤗
I feel the same way about the Rare Beauty blushes. The highlighters that were all the rage not too long ago i also feel like they really emphasize texture. So I found a new use for both the highlighter and the blushes….. eyeshadow! Not like all over but more like a shimmer for the center of the lid or the inner corner for a pop. Now I like them and use them quite often! Hope this helps everyone!
I bought the ND at Ulta since Sephora waited until after their sale...I played with it for about a week. Under makeup, over makeup, just as a highlighter..etc. I found that with a bigger fluffier brush it "laid" down better for me (and I have HUGE pores towards my nose and on), then I used The Erborian BB Creme on top (as a base/primer) then the Fenty Eaze Drop stick. Concealer and set. Put more on the high points of the cheek. MUAH! chefs kiss.
I have both the ND My Dream Cheek Trio and the Berry Pop and I SWEAR this new Glow Beautifier of hers is exactly the same formula as the Dreamy Glow Powder in both these palettes. The colors are slightly different in all three (I have shade light in the new one) but they feel the same and look the same on the skin. I liked the Glow Beautifier when I put it on but after realizing how similar it is to the ones in the palettes I can’t help but give ND a little side-eye about this thing…
Great video! I would love to hear your thoughts on the new ND highlight vs the new one from Fenty! I bought both (ND 01 and Fenty 01) And I’m really struggling to decide if I should return the one from Natasha. On the skin, they seem so similar to me, but I would love to hear your thoughts!
Your makeup always looks great but this has to be one of my recent faves! The Sephora associates turned me away from the RB blushes and told me they were mostly hype that didn’t look good on the skin. They showed me Pat McGrath and Dior. Loved!!! Now that more people are testing them honestly, with similar skin, I am so glad I didn’t purchase!
Buff the RB blush and ND highlighter instead of tapping them in. That's usually how you get shimmery products to melt in and look smooth. I'd like to hear whether you get the same results.
Natasha no I’m not gonna use that cream highlight all over my face as a base 2016 gone lol but I bet it’s a beautiful highlight!!!!! Wayne Goss did HER technique and he hated it lol he said METALLIC MESS lol for a beautiful glowy base with coverage I’d rather use my Charlotte tilbury flawless Hollywood filter ❤
Hi Morgan! Loved the video!...the Rare Beauty blushes are very patchy and not pore/texture friendly at all...one of the few things I didnt like from the brand
I find all of the LM powders look really drying on my skin; but somehow they still leave me shiny lol. I used Cover FX matte for years but now it’s been discontinued. I started using the Givenchy powder and I feel like nothing can touch it- it’s the best! What is your favorite liquid blush? I’m looking for something that’s not quite as pigmented as the Rare liquid blushes.
What were they thinking @ the ND glowing from within? No way. Did they squeeze a Troll? 😂❤ Way to take it for the team! I would not get this so thank you Morgan! 😊❤
The Anastasia is full of oils and skin care things. They recommend not putting Face creams etc on with this product and they say fingers is the best blend. I’m going by other channels trying and saying this… you might want to try that. I adore your videos you’re always so cute.
VIDEO IDEA!: Hey Morgan! Thanks for the lovely video! I was wondering if you could a video using the two new powders comparing them on half the face but , with using only make up from the brands , right from primer, foundation, concealer, setting powder than to using the new powder towards the inner part of your face than maybe to top it all off with the rest of the stuff from each brand? I think that we will be able to see a true and fair comparison. And lady i know you have the products to be able to pull it off. Also it could add to the series that you have been doing comparing brands too! I highly doubt that i am the only one who does too! So like it would be a really good video to get both into one video rather than too , because i have enjoyed those videos comparing brands . Im the kind of buyer that like to go out and pick a brand , than buy a complete face of products. From primer to setting powder. Also brushes if they have them too. 31:12 For some reason it just makes more sense to me to use a full face of the same brand because they the products are actually meant to go together and i feel that way i get the optimal use of the products. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge with over the years and I sincerely wish you and your husband all the best of health and prosperity in the future, and god bless you for being a PE teacher to the little kids too, you must have the patience of a saint to do so!! Take care, I do think you really are helping woman with their self confidence and that will help them to get out in the world to help them achieve their dreams ! 💜
Can you compare the EM cosmetic pressed powder compact with the hourglass and Laura mercier? It also was just released. I desperately need a powder compact for on the go when I get oily throughout the day
Big NO for the DM… not my vibe. I love the reviews on the products. In terms of pressed powders not being your fav… do you have a blurring powder you would recommend? Pat MaGrath just had that one in light pink caught my eye but really love your thoughts 😊
I returned that rare blush (in Hope) not because it highlighted skin texture but because it has MAGENTA sparkles in it. So weird, and they just sat on top of my skin in a very noticeable way. I love highlighter and regularly overdo it, but this blush was completely unwearable imo 😞
Honestly the ABH skin tint feels like a last hope from the company to stay relevant. I wish they added a unique element to the product though because with how much it was pushed down people's throats, there's nothing that makes it stand out. You can buy a skin tint from any brand on the market right now.
This is why I always watch you! We have the same idea about make up. You are only in your early 20s and Lisa Jay absolutely raved about this and I’m assuming she’s in her early 40s. I don’t know how the hell she got that concealersae to work. It’s as horrible as the kosas and I don’t understand the rave reviews
Didn't care for the Natasha Denona all over face highlight.Enjoyed hearing how your new products performed on you. During the Sephora sale I brought 2 of the Rare beauty blushes the deepest shade Truth is a mauve color but it looks kinda muddy on me, the shade Joy is a pretty coral.
More than half way through the video and I have none of these products. Leaving a comment to support but I’m far behind in my make up game so I’ll have to go back and see if theses videos on any of the concealers or pallets I did get.
If I may say something: it seems to me that you are starting with a very dry skin, not enough moisturized, I am saying that because I have a very dry skin myself and since I have been using serums, and very moisturizing lotions and creams, I can see a huge difference in the makeup process. I’m not here to defend the products that you are showing, because honestly, I wouldn’t use any of them: too complicated for me. The Natasha Denona thing, why do we need to use so elaborate and complicated products? And the Rare Beauty blushes which are showing the texture of our skin and are looking so unnatural, why??? I like a glowy look, not a metallic look. I don’t get all the fuss around those, is it only me? Makeup is supposed to be fun, not giving headaches. I agree with you that the foundation you are showing is too much and unflattering. But I do appreciate how hard you are trying to make these products work, I know that it is your job on your channel, but still, you have so much patience, I wouldn’t have your patience and persistence.
Warming up stick products on the back of your hand then picking the product on your hand with a sponge or brush usually gets better results than applying directly on the face BUT … watching this makes me think that ABH skin tint is just a dud product. 😬
I try to stay out of the fray. But this product shocked me..I looked like R2D2 and that’s all I’m gonna say. 😮 it’s an awful product and way overpriced.
Hourglass did set better than Laura Mercier. I've found that Laura's translucent powders run very yellow on me. I'm ultra fair skinned with neutral undertone. Now I'm rethinking about trying Hourglass 🤔
I saw a lot of makeup lovers with textured skin say they loved the rare beauty blushes. That’s the great thing about makeup everyone loves different things. Some textured skin girlies like the glow and some non textured girlies love to be matte 😊

I was just thinking about this! Morgan is really good at following-up compared to other content creators.
@@keith_59 Agreed!
I wonder if you can revive it somehow. Maybe a drop of squalane, which is an ingredient?
If its only been a month, return
You could try to revive the creams with Inglot’s Duraline.
I love your honesty and no filter reviews. You’re not the usual influencer who says everything is “amazing.” It helps us to put our hard earned money to quality products that do what they say they’re gonna do.

Exactly!! Thank you
yeah this highlight just did not translate LOL

I always do off camera, but felt like filming it today!
Disappointing to see how dry both of the expensive pressed powders performed. Thanks for always showing your “dry” ladies a close up view! So helpful! 😘

Awesome video!
can you review elf bronzing drops please
More than half way through the video and I have none of these products. Leaving a comment to support but I’m far behind in my make up game so I’ll have to go back and see if theses videos on any of the concealers or pallets I did get.
Secret Sephora haul😂😂
hehe
Beautiful ❤
You look beautiful
Thank you 💜
Who else felt her pain when she dropped that liquid highlighter onto the powder highlighter?!?
0:15 😂😂😅
Warming up stick products on the back of your hand then picking the product on your hand with a sponge or brush usually gets better results than applying directly on the face BUT … watching this makes me think that ABH skin tint is just a dud product. 😬
Hello beautiful Morgan 😍
Hello!!
i bought the Anastasia skin ting because Jeffrey star recommend it but didn't like it, waste of money.
I try to stay out of the fray. But this product shocked me..I looked like R2D2 and that’s all I’m gonna say. 😮 it’s an awful product and way overpriced.
💕💄
✨💖✨
That Sol De Janeiro spray mist set is not even on the Sephora website🫢 I’m curious 👀 how much was that? Hopefully it comes to more locations soon 😊
will post everything in a short! I didnt even know it hadnt been released yet!
@@MorganTurnerMakeup Thank you Morgan ☺️
Yes the ABH balm sits on top of the skin. It’s giving cheap sunscreen. Not a fan.
“It’s giving Deodorant” jajjajaajja😂
