Amazing podcast man can’t lie, this is why since I started watching football content online I’ve always gravitated towards and resonated with you 2 because the ball knowledge you both have combined with the sheer passion and love/appreciation you guys have for the sport is unmatched man. Keep it doing your thing you guys and you’ll make it even further 💪🏼
Again a joy listening to you guys talk about the beautifull game. A player that came up to my mind when you were talking about Pogba was Neymar. He also had an immense influence on the social media era when you think about it. Came to Europe as a superstar and was used as a brand by his father. His netflix documentary gave a lot of insights about that. I partly agree what Cams said about you either were Messi or Ronaldo on a football pitch but I think I speak for quite a lot of players when I say that you would dream being Neymar on a football pitch with his Nike Hypervenoms boots. What a time....
Just finished reading Johan Cruyff Always on the Attack by Auke Kok, really great biography about the man. Looking forward to hearing you guys talk about his legacy.
Mo salah’s culture in England is underrated. The Islamophobia that was at an all time high in England dropped significantly when he touched England. You can read about it in articles. Good watch tho boys
Great video but you guys forgot to mention George Best, the REAL first celebrity footballer, with his good looks and Beatles style hair, they used to call him the Fifth Beatle!!! Also won the Ballon D’or at 22 years old
Love the pep praise.. the fact that you mentioned everyone copies some form of his football is what ruined football and not him himself? I rate.. 👏 brilliant lads.. PEP THE GOAT!
Beckham in 24 is still the most stylish athlete to ever grace the earth, some others are getting better but most are just doing too much/they don't understand it yet. it's crazy how fashion has accepted the sports world.
Topic suggestion: Greatest teams to never win the Champions League. Mine would be 2012 Real Madrid under Mourinho. btw, Great episode man. Something new to the usual pods. Really refreshing content. keep it going
Arrigo Sacchi's legacy is just as great as Cruyff's imo. He taught Capello who coached Ancelotti who himself coached the likes of Zidane, Conte and Deschamps.
Hungary 1950s used a false 9 and the Austrian wunderteam of the 30s used rotating players and false positions before them. Even the current pep 3421 is a slightly changed WM formation that herbert Chapman used at arsenal in the 30s. Tactics is about tweaking to improve and perfect not to try and reinvent the wheel.
Video ideas: rank the Best set piece takers of all time (freekicks and corners) Also we always show appreciation to the managers at the top of the league but what about the managers that always knew how to avoid the drop throughout the years? What do you guys think made them so good at that particular task and why do you guys think there aren't managers like that anymore?
Messi is awesome for sure, but in my opinion Cr7 is maybe the biggest reason why football is so fun to watch, every decision he made, going to england what he brought to england as a young player, when he establish himself choosing to go to real madrid, back then we saw it as yeah a normal move for a top player, but we never know who ronaldo was or was to become, he made england jump, he tore spain apart, kicked off a rivalry and made portugal a fan favourite country, Cr7 was just a rockstar, and before him yeah you have like george best, kevin keegan, diego maradona and ofcourse david beckham, even zlatan ibrahimovic to an extent, but out of them Cr7 is the football rockstar.
Since Paolo Maldini got fired everything at AC Milan just gets worse and worse, we need to get rid of our manager 100000% while i don`t want Inter to do well, i`d rather it be Inter then Juventus, but ideally i don`t want either of them to well, but Juventus is our Liverpool, as an AC Milan fan if you wanna compare it to United`s rivals. Cruyff is one of the GOAT`s, he is right up there in the past GOAT discussion, he belongs right up there with Messi, Cr7, Pele and Maradona.
@@therealhb1763 Who hasn`t? I think Cruyff is more influencial for the development of football, but Messi(The Goat), Cr7, Pele and Maradona are often considered the goats. I don`t think Maradona should be there personally due to his cheating and his cocain use(which actually is a sports enhanzing drug)
Was wondering if you guys could do a video assessing some of the younger generation talents coming through, and possibly ranking them based on ceiling. To include, endrick (going madrid), estevao (going chelsea), echeverri(going man city) and kendry paez (going chelsea). You can watch their videos etc so you can comment on their talent.
How did Pep perfected football and with the best teams couldn’t deliver on the UCL level? And Madrid never played that way and look at the success. Just because he won multiple PL doesn’t mean he perfected football. Chill
@@momotheone9700 I'm just saying, if you look at the best teams in the 2000, Pep has maybe 3 of the top 5, and all 3 teams won the league before and after Pep, but when it's UCL time I think he under achieve. overall he's top coach but head to head UCL type of games I wouldn't pick him.
It's funny because I never liked Cristiano or Messi that much. I hated both Barca and Madrid while they were there, and even though I recognise Messi is one of the GOATs (and better than Cristiano), I've never been a huge fan. La Liga was dead while they were there because it was dominated by both clubs. I also despised how both clubs got so lucky and got so many refereeing decisions go their way in Europe, and to top it all off, modern fans of both clubs are some of the most toxic in all of existence. The rabid fanboy-ism that both players spawned prevents me from ever liking either player. Once you start getting talked down to by some random Indian online who probably started watching football a week ago for criticising CR7, you know it's peak for the sport....
@@grez367 Go on, what does it say about my mental capacity? Enlighten us. I don't like either player that much (especially Cristiano), but I don't hate them, either. I don't like the rabid fans both have spawned, and a large part of someone's fanbase is a reflection of that person to an extent. This kind of pathetic fanboyism didn't exist in football prior to these two. And if some of that hate is irrational, so be it.

Best podcast on football UA-cam. Just stay consistent and it will be numero uno I promise
Inzaghi probably isn't linked to every club because Inter are massive themselves. They're a real heritage, legacy club
Real Football Talk❤️this is what we need

I'm very impressed by you lots knowledge of football history.

I like how you upload the podcast on UA-cam but you and Cams should try to upload on Spotify aswell. Loving the podcast Lyes
this podcast is amazing , hope you keep going for a long time
We need a talk on Laporta and Barcelona but more of the higher ups because mostly it’s only talked about on just players and managers and club name
Video suggestion: Your Greatest Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern Munich XI
I don’t see many on UA-cam making content like this instead of stupid clickbait content that everyone does. Keep it up lads 💪👏🏻👏🏻🔥🔥
Rinus, Cryuff, Pep are the Holy trinity of total football.
