@@metalheadmonkeywrenchreact8739 I love the music and the band. The singer I wish was different. I would love to see Brittany Slays (Unleash the Archer) vocals over this band.
Those are "dual" guitars, not competing guitarists. Their concert is called "Five of a Kind" for a reason and the lyrics to this song, "When Destinies Align" tell of their UNITY as a group. The harmony-duets represent that unity and common-cause, as they are on a "crusade" to "protect Heavy Metal" ... Nearly every song has individual solos as well as a guitar-harmony-duet that follows. A LOVEBITES signature trait. Vocalist Asami was specifically chosen by the other four members and she writes the majority of their lyrics. Your interest in changing that is absurd. The general theme of Unleash... is totally contrary to LOVEBITES consistent lyrical theme. Not liking Asami is not liking the whole band's chosen theme and presentation. Silly.
@@dregeye well thats just my opinion and opinions are like assholes, everyone has them. And you just proved that you are an asshole just because I don't like one part if the band and I don't base that just off this song to be honest. Hell I still have them on my spotify playlist because I love the rest of the band so much.

Bravo to you! No worries about the Zeppelin reference. Zeppelin, Purple, Sabbath et al. were big influences on the 80's metal bands so it all connects in some way. So, if you want some background: They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan for awhile). Miho (bass) recruited her former bandmate Haruna (Drums), and they went and found the two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, and the whole group found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time. They have only been together for four years. One of their strengths is that Midori and Miyako are actually so different in style and tone, which makes their duets all the more powerful. Midori is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion and pinch harmonics. Either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reactor said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band together." To see something which will short your brain out (specifically the ending) try "Swan Song" ua-cam.com/video/QUGCQ1FTB0g/v-deo.html
I wonder why Midori never uses that white ESP anymore, such a good looking guitar. Speaking of good looking, how nice is that Dean screaming in Miyako's hands! Check out - Hammer of Wrath, Break the Wall, Swan Song, Scream for Me, Edge of the World, all Live! I think you might've been bitten on this one. Thank you and stay safe.
@@thedocofrock1890 I think Midori has a new guitar too, in the Vladlove anime video she is playing a V, first time i see it. I never knew Akane's hat was originally Misa's hat. Saw the picture not long ago, kind of a shock to see Misa with it!
For sure you should check Hammer of Wraith, Shadowmaker, Swan Song and maybe Thunder Vengeance, these songs by the mare like a must for start. Only do yourself a favor and if you choose live videos, don't ever touch footage from the Bloodstock festival, it has awful sound quality, on the other hand Five of a kind @ Zepp Diver City Rokyo 2020 has very good quality
Young metalheads don't know much about Zep☺No Zep, Sabbath & Purple, No Metal🔥Jimmy Page & Miyako(Gt.dark hair) are genius Riff makers🎸LOVEBITES played live & video shooting at ZEPP Tokyo 🎵lol😜
Lol right! Instrument's killed it. And vocals are growing on me. I wasn't ever an 80s metal band kinda guy till a couple years ago so still learning the styles and sounds of that era. I mean I heard a great deal of songs from that time but I wasn't a follower of that particular decade of sound
You can check out "Edge of the world" or "Epilogue" If you want heard some great vocal from Asami. For me, Asami is best singer too for this genre music. Not many singer can sing like her. For me, she's voice is unique.
Guess it's not for everyone but as a long time Iron Maiden fan, she's basically the female (young) Bruce Dickinson to me 😅 (so yes, I love Asami's vocals)
Another great reaction. Since you've already checked out one of their live songs, you really should see this one called "Thunder Vengeance". This song will give vibes of Metallica/Slayer/Megadeth. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/yWE7PqCpGi4/v-deo.html
You mentioned that their energy reminded you of Led Zeppelin. Also , all band members have their own star power and individual character. Sounds completely different from Zep but the guitarists have enough talent to make their strings sing harmony with Asami. " Like a bird flying into a whirlwind + Carry On " = tribute to Kansas + Dorothy??? You never know with Japanese lyrics they love to play with puns and thought rhymes ha ha.

That dueling guitar solo is a work of art.

Tiny Haruna. So small that Ant man once refused to go on a date with her unless she wore high heels. But behind the drums she's a absolute giant :)
Lmao! 🤣🤣 she is a beast on those drums tho
LMAO, even Haruna would have to smile at that line...an instant classic well done. She is wicked good. She beats those drums like they owe her money!!!
@@jmetallover Haha she sure does :)
Haruna = the pocket nuclear reactor. Their live set can run as long as two hours, and she never lets up.

I guess the white Esp is special for Music Video. Lovebites First show in 2017(before battle in the east) showed Midori use white Esp.

the reincarnation of Eddie van Halen, Randy Rhodes, Chris Squire, John Paul Bonham & Bon Scott
