    Concise and crisp !! Just a little more information on the formation of facial colliculus in the floor of 4th ventricle would have been useful. A diagram of the saggital section and the fourth ventricle would help.

    11: 07-- if upper part of nucleus is responsible for upper face , bells palsy (a LMN type), there is complete ipsilateral palsy... kindly explain this sir

      The deep origin of facial nerve (nuclei) are in both pins and medulla.

      @@EasyAnatomy Assalamu a'laikum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatuhu sir. Ma sha Allah sir ur teaching is nice but one thing that I noted is as the motor fibers come out from the motor nucleus, it goes posteriorly and then winds around the sixth cranial nerve's nucleus then it emerges out of the ponto medullary junction.
