    I picked up a Digital Pro GT set for £20 on FB marketplace couldn't get there fast enough, was about £320 when new, box was tatty but fixed it up with some 2" clear tape...

    Just buy another new set, reduced , you can get them for £ 100 with a couple of cars which would cost £100, so the track is pretty much free

    Missed out on that Le Mans set in The Netherlands, went for 45 euros!!! :(
    Not worth getting the Classic track then, better to get the Sport stuff?

      classic track is fine for the older pre 2002 cars has much more grip than the sport track, but for day to day play i prefer the sport track with the modern cars.

      @@slot-car-dad Found someone selling 3 Digital sets together 2x A1 Grand Prix and 1x Pro GT set, extra track, 4 other cars and an extra digital controller, they want 400 euros. is that a good price?

      @iDesignyou... sounds good to me, digital sets in the UK seem to go for £100 - £200 each on ebay at the moment

    Lately, here in the USA, it seems everyone has gleamed the internet for slot car popularity, and as such, has priced used track and cars at outrageous prices.

      Yeah, people are trying to sell their used crap for more than retail price. There's just no such thing as a good deal in this hobby.
