- Member @baldbeardedasian putting his 1st rounds through his new Glock 29SF. Chambered in 10mm, known for its stopping power as a backpack gun in the wilderness. Definitely not for home defense because of over penetration. Off camera, a huge tree branch snapped off the tree while I was shooting. Probably just coincidence.🤫
The recoil definitely let's you know if you need to work on your grip strength, but really isn't as bad as it's made out to be...as long as you're not shooting it all day.😅

That's why I made the change to glock. Was shooting my S&W with my buddy. Shot his G20 and it was the best group I'd ever shot. So sold the S&W and got a G17 and haven't looked back. Idk what the ergo snobs are gripeing about, i like glock grips....
My go to is a 44 magnum. When I’m shooting my 10 mm it feels sweet and comfortable and I hit everything
Would love to see the model 29 join Glocks x series of pistols...give it the grip size of the G20 with the slide of the G29!

Good to start out with weak watered down target ammo in 10mm. Shoot another video when you get ammo with true 10mm ballistics. They make 40SW ammo with more power than that Armscor 10mm target ammo.
You’re not kidding. I had the glock 20 for a second and just got the 29. Shot some 200 grain. Definitely had to readjust my handling. Shit was hot(obviously)
the key is to get back on target. That was good for a 1st mag.
Niiice! I want one of these so bad. I have a feeling that the Gen 5 is coming out. So I am gonna try to hold out until then.

Yeah that’s nothing I have a g40 mos, get some underwood 140gr xtreme penetrators for bears and the 135 gr for in and around the house. I used the 180gr. Bonded for animals and all rounds are nasty as hell! Lol love me some underwood ammo!
Not bad for the first time, I had one but sold it but I will be getting another one soon, I've been waiting on the XDM Eite 3.8" 10mm that just came out I want to find one and handle one and see if I want that one before I get one but not bad.

I like it....with range ammo the recoil is similar to my .45. I grouse hunt from 4wheeler in northern MN so I got a chest holster. Shoulder be a good setup.

10mm will not stop a charging bear
It will stop a bear, if anything overpower the bear but a 9mm can also get the job done with enough shots if the bear is huge. Even a .25 can stop a bear but if it’s big it will take time. A 10mm most likely will be lethal upon impact if face or upper mid chest shot, guessing that’s why it’s called the bear killer.
@@ricoflamma5430 chest shot is the way to go but sometimes they never show their chest. A hunting guide with a YT channel said him and 3 hunters unloaded 30+ bullets into a charging bear with varying pistols. 17 bullets never made it past the blubber. No head shots made it through the bears thick skull either. The only thing that saved them was the few bullets that punctured the chest cavity, and lucky hitting the bears heart.
