Thank you all for your remarkable support over the years! I cannot express enough how grateful I am for your appreciation and patronage of this channel, my training style, and my kennel. Always remember, it’s a great day for a puppy-sized adventure!

Before I got my Izzie, I found your channel. I looked at some others, but they didn't grab me.
Our Lord said go back to the first one and I did.
I didn't go there to be entertained. I went there to learn the very serious training I was looking for and I found it.
I have applied that training to my 8 week old Black Lab puppy.
She took right to what I learned from you and is pretty impressive at such a young age.
We even made a small challenge course. She went on it the first time at 8 weeks like I'd already been training her.
I kept thinking, I wish Uncle Stonnie could see what his training sessions, and advice has done for me and in turn Izzie.
We are soon ready to kick it up a notch or two. Thank you so much!

When I’m bored, I come here to learn how to train my black chubby with “persistence, consistence, and a little insistence” because I’m interested. I’ve put many of your methods into practice and it works. Your calm demeanor interests me and clearly has the dogs attention. If someone thinks your channel is boring, they’re truly not interested in the subject matter, and should simply move on.

I think "boring" is a highly underrated quality.
I've had my dog since July. She'll be six next month, was never trained, was in rough shape (imagine being skin and bones at 117 lbs.) and is stubborn and strong as hell. It hasn't been easy but she's making tremendous strides, I believe because I've consistently insisted (lovingly but firmly) that we do things MY way, even if she does outweigh me. She now loves to take walks, walks up and down stairs (which she refused to do initially) and even goes in the car without an argument. Believe me, with a dog this big, I NEVER look forward to "exciting." I'm relieved that her behavior is becoming more boringly well-mannered and I appreciate the perspective you share.

Actually I have learned more than a boatload of info from you! You got mad at me a few yrs back and even made a video about it called “trolls and language police” but I never meant any insult to you. Hi Stonnie. As I watch your training videos, I often replace 'dog' with 'human' and take mental notes at every turn. There's no music, no hassle, no drama; just a man and his will and his discipline to teach dogs basic commands, obedience, and good manners. More power to you. Love from Canada!

You’re videos are the best, Stonnie. My pup is going on 5 years with good manners and it all started with your videos. Sometimes we play your videos to recalibrate-he’s been hearing your voice since he was 10 weeks old. All this to say that those of us who follow you are not here for dog drama. We’re here because we want calm and peaceful homes and strong communication with our pups, and you model how to achieve that.

I do not see boring. In many ways I consider it going to class. Now I have a Golden Doodle. Not exactly a hard “dog” to train. But puppy stage was rough. Your hobo training concept has trained me to show a dog manners. Now he goes just about everywhere with me.
He loves people. Will sit and wait to be acknowledged.
Now people no longer ask “ how are you”. They ask “where is Leo”. Thank you sir!

I watch a lot of content but Stonnie's videos helped me the most, and these are also the videos I am looking forward to the most. This approach is like a cherry on top of the cake in my learning journey. I have been watching and learning about all the techniques and stuff, but certainly was lacking some bigger picture and WHY behind everything. I see Stonnie more like a dog philosopher, a wise man that puts in the work and does everything what he preaches. The videos are so informative and realistic. Some of them I tend to re-watch to remind myself to be more patient with my dog. Stonnie has definitely helped me to survive the hardest moments of raising a puppy. I want more "boring" videos! 😊

The Mrs and I have been watching since around 2016 I think, and appreciate your family business and philosophy as it applies to dogs and people the same.
We lost our heart dog in 2017, yet as old retired Senior folk, we get out, get going, stay active, make ourselves interesting- as if we still had a dog. We’ve learned more about dogs and the psychology of what makes them polite, attentive, and well-mannered. We anticipate your next video, and the next, and maybe one day soon we’ll be blessed with another dog and be better prepared.

God Bless you and your family!!! You are a gift to people and to dogs :) and it doesn't seem like you ever sit down so there is no way for you to be boring. I am so proud of the work you and your family does for the community and because of UA-cam, a wide audience. Your dog psychology makes complete sense and you teach it in a digestible manner. Your kids are so sweet and I'm sure that "Cameraman" is a Rockstar. Our beloved Weimaraner passed and in hindsight, she was a bit of a race horse for us. We are going to match our next dog to our current energy level, so Labrador it is (not sure it will be black though, haha). I live in California but my dad is from Kentucky so I love when you say, "Holler." I will also plan to do any courses you offer online so that we invest our work into the front end of our next dog. If I don't get to meet you on the earth I have a feeling I'll get to meet you in God's heaven :) Keep up the great work :) don't fret over the negative nelly's - some people aren't happy unless they are complaining or stirring the pot ... Bonus: if people listen to your dog training advice, they will also receive good child training advice as a bonus :)

You're channel is my favorite on youtube, and it's because the videos are exactly the way they are: genuine, informative, and real. I remember I first came across your channel because I am a huge fan of Labrador Retrievers and wanted to learn more about the difference between English/show and American/working blood lines. Not only did you prove to be an amazing resource on the topic, but you also taught me so much about other breeds. You have so many fans of your family and hard work; and your channel really is the most authentic dog channel out there. Hello Mr. Stonnie. Always liked your videos, and after learning so much from you and others trainers personally and virtually I end up forgetting your channel a little bit after a while. But came back after I heard this podcast (Canine Paradigm of 2 amazing Australian blokes) saying and remembering me how dog training is "boring" for the average people. It takes so much patience and consistency that are not appealing for social media. I don't know them personally but I've been hearing their podcast from years and I can assume with 99% of certainty that they were applauding your content and agreeing that social media needs more of these realistic and educational videos. Not "sexy", flashy and unrealistic 15 seconds of useless posts. Congrats again for everything. Greetings from Brazil.

I am excited to see how quickly your students learn. I am excited Everytime I see a new video come out or find one I haven't viewed before. I find excitement in your videos all the time, especially when you teach some Ah Ha moment of revelation in the common sense, perfect way you teach dogs, and I realize it will work for me too! I can do this. I get excited to learn that I can take my dog anywhere anytime with me if I will put in the work, and follow your teachings. Boring? Not hardly! You are my absolute favorite to the extent that I have stopped watching any other dog trainers videos. Bet the guy with all the trouble dogs he thinks are exciting doesn't have followers who will say that!

Hater’s are always gonna hate. You have the best channel on the internet. Common sense logic based on a dogs point of view. I have learned so much since finding your channel, thanks again and keep up the great work.

Pay them no mind. I watched nearly every video of yours in 2016 in preparation of adopting our children lab, Theodore, while stationed in Alaska. I followed all of your videos and tips to the T and we have the most well behaved, loving, and disciplined lab. We receive compliments on his behavior everywhere we go and we always tell them-you’ve got to check out Stoney!

    Your Honorable
    Stonnie Dennis
I truly admire you. I came across your channel before I got my first dog, and you have always inspired me. I recently quit teaching, and I’m living out my car with my dog, Bailee, and snake, Nagini. It’s been 62 days and things are tight, but I keep looking for a way of living where I can always be with my dog and use my talents/skills/abilities.
All I’m asking for is advice to build a kennel from scratch with nothing but a dream aspiration determination and grit. I’ll do it with my bare hands 🧱 please offer some wisdom. I’m praying 🙏🏾

Come on Stonnie, you don’t make boring videos. It is just fun watching all the dogs around you. They all have different characters. You are like the Pied Piper of dogs. I used to watch Dog Daddy. Someone there suggested watching you. I just enjoy your channel better. I have learned a lot. So don’t change a thing.

If you want dogs to learn, you need to promote a calm, non reactive state of mind! Dogs LOVE, LOVE routine. Most people do not have the patience to train animals. I love your channel and direct people to it all the time!
