what's the point of losing the front 1/4 of the insole?

3/4 length insoles require no trimming and can be easily moved from shoe to shoe which is optimal if you don'’t want to buy multiple insoles for various shoes. They also don't overcrowd your toes, so they are great for snugger fitting shoes.

My CF430's keep sliding forward in my shoe, which becomes very painful and annoying. Is there a way to prevent my 3/4 insole from sliding?

We have made Custom Fit Orthotics® a little wider to ensure that it would be held in place by the sides of the shoe as well as at the heel. However, in shoes that are significantly wide or where the uppers on the shoes are very worn, Custom Fit Orthotics® may not have any side support to grab onto to keep it in place. We also add some tackiness to the bottom of Custom Fit Orthotics® to help stop it from moving. However, sometimes insoles slip because there is dirt or other material on the existing surface of the shoe that gets on the insole and reduces it’s tacky nature. Please try wiping down the insoles and the inside of your shoe with some wipes and see if that activates the insole to stay in place better. We hope this helps!

Maybe rubber cement would hold them in place? 🤗

Does one take out the insole that comes with the shoe?

If your shoes' original insole can be removed, we recommend doing so. If not, you can place the Dr. Scholl's insole on top of the original one. Thanks!
