Cook my first Christmas roast with me!🥺🤍
Anastasia do you reply ?💗💗
@@Libertymaeedwards She has staff for that...
Someone get ana a sharper knife 😜
That is not a masher, that is a straining ladle! Roast potatoes are anaemic, cauliflower has like no cheese, boil the carrots a bit before roasting them.
And it’s “yorkSHER” not “yorkSHEER”....
@@chelseafaye7799 Ooh! You're harsh Chelsea... but right!
Good try Ana! 👏🏼 But that was so painful to watch 😂😂😂
Ana trying to cook honey carrots (with a shite load of oil) in a cake tin… 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That looks so good! A tip for making roasties extra crispy is rupping them with oil and then adding a small amount of flour and then put it in hot oil and it makes them extra crispy!
Not ana saying basically everything was cooked to perfection when she drowned those carrots in oil and the roast potatoes were anaemic 😂😂
It was when she said I might actually add a little more that got me!😂
The chicken skin wasn't brown enough
🙌🏼
ua-cam.com/video/fJl5qEufzcA/v-deo.html vlog :D
It made me laugh when she put a tiny sprinkle of seasoning on the potatoes but then poured a tonne of oil and honey into the carrots😂
The roasties look sooo pale, they should be darker and crispier! You need to drain them properly and use a tiny bit of oil!
Roasties need to have a good shake after par boiling then they go straight into hot oil. Use a bigger tray and cook for longer. Great effort though! X
I agree I always do this x
I've started leaving the skin on my roasts and not pealing and it's honestly a game changer and they still taste lovely!! Xx
on behalf of everyone from yorkshire, pronounce it yorkSHER pudding😭 only you x
I say it like that
Me too 😂😂
Me too
Exactly
It’s more yorkSHEIR like how u say ear
Well done! Not easy cooking a roast dinner!
I would put carrots on a bigger tray and I always leave the skin on and spray with oil or use lard/fat. Salt, pepper, honey & Italian seasoning.
You want to use a bigger tray for the potatoes too and pre heat the oil til pipping hot before putting the potatoes in, will crisp them up a lot more.
I’m cooking Christmas dinner for the first time this year for the family!
That’s not a masher. It’s just a larger draining spoon
Another tip: put the Yorkshire pudding dish with oil in the oven 10mins before so the oil is nice and hot before you put the batter in
And steam dry the potatoes after you drain them leave them in the colander and put a tea towel over them after 15 mins shake them in the colander they get fluffed up which is how you get the crispy bits then heat the oil in the oven till it’s sizzling hot and put the spuds in xx
From a chefs perspective to help you, to much oil for the carrots and potatoes 🥔:) xx
ua-cam.com/video/fJl5qEufzcA/v-deo.html vlog :)
Are you sure there’s no one else who could cook the Xmas dinner?🤣x
Anna we really got to go over the way you say Yorkshire 🤣🤣
Omg the amount of oil on those carrots 😅
Ana, I love you, but the way you peel and chop things makes me really confused
the fact she didn’t make a cheese roux for the cauliflower cheese Hurt Me
I actually love watching Ana cook!! She’s 💁🏻♀️
Loving the Christmas content ☀️
Hey Anna loving the content can’t beat a Christmas roast
ua-cam.com/video/fJl5qEufzcA/v-deo.html vlog :)
…that’s not a potato masher 🤣
The way ana says “yorkshire” really gives me the ick
Ana the best potato’s to use for roasties is Maris pipers! Also get the garlic and Rosemary seasoning in a packet to put on them can get it in Sainsbury’s 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Hey!!! You was talking about making cheese sauce from flower and cheese and milk etc, but there’s this cheese sauce you can buy from Tesco’s, I use it with my cauliflower and it’s unreal! It’s no more than £1 and it’s in a sachet looking thing where the sauces are and it should just say “creamy cheese sauce” it’s honestly amazing and it takes literally 2 seconds to do, you only add milk :) 😚😚
easy way to make the batter - get a cup ( any cup/ small mug - bigger the cup the more mix ) , and use that to measure so you have equal quantities of milk egg and flour .... egg and milk first and gradually add the flour ... no lumps!
Try putting milk in with butter and the potatoes for mash! That’s how my mother does hers
I don't know, I don't like the look of that roast.. Where's the green veg? Kudos to Ana for making real yorkshire puddings though cause most just get frozen ones 🤣 the roasts don't look roasted enough for me. Please someone teach Ana how to say yorkshire though for real... thats the only criticism i have but im a yorkshire girl and perfect roast dinners are critcal for us 🤣🤣🤣
I will 100% be giving Christmas roast a miss this year after watching this abomination. RIP ana’s Christmas roast.
Ahh I’ve missed her cooking videos😽
Ana, hold the potato, and don’t peel in such little bits! No wonder it took so long! ❤️😂 they also need about 20 minutes more in the oven.
Sooo much oil went into the Yorkie tray 😭
Roast potatoes need to be on hot oil tray, would of been even more tasty! Going to defo try honey carrots sounds lovely!
With the Yorkshire’s, I add a bit of salt and pepper to the mixture as well! It adds a bit of taste! And with the chicken I also add salt and pepper to the top! It crisps it up a bit and makes the skin taste great the next day!!!
Oh lord, those spuds look anaemic 😩
I would suggest using goose fat for the potatoes and when you drain them in a colander really rough them up and then add loads of seasoning I normally use parsley rosemary and Thyme and add a couple gloves of garlic whole and cook them for an hour and they are always yummy
The lack of seasoning and colour and flavour is making me want to cry
Ngl it seems like Ana is always cooking or buying food for her mates. Hope they pitch in too
Cal has said they do
80% oil 20% food
Anna, use a fork to mash the spuds instead of this giant spoon thing. My Ick when you pulled apart the bacon and dropped it on the side, gurrrlll
loving the Christmas content so much ana has inspired me to want to start a channel 💕
She's insane isn't she! I have a channel& she inspires me so much 🤍
Go for it Leo Casey 👍🏻 you have nothing to lose but a lot to gain. Just be yourself and you will do well. 😀
@@dystopia8752 thanks so much
@@ShannanRose she really is the best 💙
Did you do the carrots in a cake tin? 🥕
Yeah🤣
Absolutely loved watching this, you certainly outdone yourself for a first try well done! BUT Anna that is a shocking amount of gravy😢🤣
I can't count how many times I've made a Sunday roast and I still always get stressed xx
This has made me never want a roast dinner again 😂😅 cauliflower cheese WITH JUST CREAM
“Culflower” 🤣😭
Sooo early, watched you for ages and love you so much. I now want to start my own channel because of you 💗xx
The easiest way to do roast potatoes... don't peal them! Just scrub them real good.
i pronounce it like 'york shure'
ahhh never been so early! 2 minutes
Tip: boil the potatoes for at least 20mins so they are super soft and then after draining shake them in the saucepan so they are literally so fluffy (extra crispy) they should sizzle when you first put them in the pre heated oil dish
Use an electric whisk next time for the mash . So easy and fluffy
whisking breaks down starch so the potato becomes more slop than mash
Where’s the rest of the vegetables?
yess anna slay i can’t even cook 😂 it looks soooooo yum 💗
Tip for cauliflower cheese ,, make a cheese sauce , mix the cauliflower in, put it in a Trey, sprinkle cheese on top. That way the cauliflower cooks in the sauce and it’s just a lot nicer
Also when you make mash potatoes you put butter and cream in and that’s what makes them mashable x
Put cream in the mash and rosemary too it’s unreal 🤤
Nice job! Potatoes look raw tho!
Did you heat the oil for the yorkies first??
As someone who is from Yorkshire. We say it “York-Shur” ❤️✌🏼
It’s pronounced like *”yorksher”*
Loving the daily vlogs and the main channel uploads!! Lovee you ❤👑
Looks pretty good just needed some Brussel sprouts
Liked before I even started watching. So excited!!!
Nothing looked done 😂
the amount of oil on those carrots…
Mash with a roast dinner?!
Yessss
so excited to watch anna
Love it, you make it look easy, what ingredients did you use for cauliflower cheese, I always get it wrong 😭
Oh Anna I love you but watching you cook this was stressing me out 😂
Wishing i was callum and freya rn it looked so good 😩💔
she’s a chef 💁🏻♀️
“Weird hole” I think you used cake tins and the idea with those is when the cake is done you can pop the base out to make cake removal easier 🤣🙈 bless you! 10/10 for effort x
adore youu 💗💗
Bless you 🥰 good 👍🏻 job Anna

You smashed this !!! 💜
it looks amazing love yorkshire pudding
You did an amazing job! Well done xxx
Hi Ana I love this video!
its york-sha
Pls make more of these I love these videos 💕😁
@anastasia I normally cook chicken for about 2 hours in the foil and I take the foil off for about 45-1 hour.
I swear the tin you used for the carrots was a cake tin? 🤣🤣
It was, but perfectly effective at cooking other things so...
Yes and? Its a tin. Does the job. No need to buy extras when you’ve got something that’s already capable for the job. Guess what? You can also use a roasting tin to bake a cake 😱
You smashed it Anna ❤️
I am literally 14 and make a roast every Sunday. Always look forward to making the traditional roast :))
Babe you went in 👏🏽
I’m from Leicester and say Yorkshire exactly the same as you 🤷🏼♀️
Love these food videos and for the best roasties boil for 30 mins and then deep fry trust me you will thank me later 👌🏽😋🥰
Try adding sausage meat to the stuffing, game changer 🤤
Yay!!! So excited
That gravy was thiiiiiiick , looked great 👍
Rah those Carrots 🥕 are drowning in oil
