I was in a car accident in March, drunk 19yo hit me hit me driverside head on. I was going 65 and he was going 75 and it sent me off the road and I hit a tree. In alabama as a solo victim in the vehicle the most you can get is $50k and as a group of victims the most is $100k. So even if there is 8 people in the car the most insurance will pay is $100k or $12.5k each. My bill at the hospital was over $800k and if I went through the other guys insurance that $50k would go straight to the hospital and I'd likely owe more after. I ended up going with morgan and morgan and they actually got my hospital bill paid and no longer charged to me aswell as getting me some money in my pocket.
