All those beds ready to go are a beautiful site! I have six 100ft rows for cut flowers. No moo=la for landscape fabric ...yet! Today i spent a few hours on my day off from my "real job" running the hoe thru a couple beds. As a bonus my farmer tan is killer :) Can't wait to see you start planting out!
We actually aren’t sure. We bought it at auction and it had no markings on it, no information came with it. Our best guess was an older model from nolt’s
We have always used the biodegradable film, in previous years we used Nolt’s as a supplier. We purchased a new roll from rainflo with the layer and were very happy with its performance last year. It’s listed in their catalog under bio-gold.
We are lucky enough to not need to irrigate for the most part. In the off chance that we do I’ll either hand water or run hoses from a neighboring property as we don’t have a well in the field itself.

Thank you! That’s awesome. I can relate, I also have a “real job” to work around! :)
I hope it works well for y'all. Enjoyed the video.
Thank you!
I understand, best wishes with this beautiful tool
Thank you!
Rain Flo is the Cadillac of plastic mulch. Looking forward to see how your field does.
Very happy so far with its performance and ease of use. This was a big purchase for us but well worth it so far!
Looks great!
Thanks! 😊
What model/brand was your old plastic mulch bedder? I ask because I'm considering units now.

Which plastic mulch did you transition to and which one were you using? We're in MI (5b) and I've been looking @ the bio 360 for this season

@@hahnacre6339 I’ve been looking at bio gold for this season as well. Thank you for the heads-on on this. I appreciate it!!
do you till first? then add the plastic? or does it do it all at one time?
Yes, till first. The front of the plastic layer just shapes the bed and smooths the dirt for the plastic to lay tight to it
How do you irrigate without laying drip?

@@hahnacre6339 yeah we're fighting that battle too. Wells can be so expensive.
