what are like the rules on flying a drone for social media? do you need a license or can you just fly it and get cool shots of the car. id love to hear what you found out.
Yeah so you need a commercial drone pilot license (they call it Part 107) if you are going to sell or make money off your drone footage. I recently got my license and its a pretty easy exam. But you can fly your drone for recreational purposes without many limitations (but keep an eye on which airspace you are in because there are different altitude limitations) and the fines from the FAA are usually pretty large.
