- Team Switzerland win the team competition during the FEI World Vaulting Championships 2012 in Le Mans. Germany finished closely behind in second with the home nation France finishing in third.

I vault and I am so unbelievably jealous of these amazing vaulters and their amazing horse! they work together amazingly as a team and I actually really like the costumes!!

I love the idea of vaulting and how graceful it is and doesn't hurt the horse. It takes lots of skill. I do not like vaulting myself as I prefer regular riding but that doesn't mean I love to watch it.
i love to ride western to but i did start vaulting and its so much fun
I do wonder about the horses back, being collected and rounded when someone lands on it from 4 feet up

I'm confused how people complain about someone who is a little heavy and rides a horse then thinks three skinny people riding a horse at the same time is okay. Like??? These people are amazing riders, and there's some amazing heavy riders too. Sometimes people need to just step back and chill.
aside from that horses can carry a good amount of weight before showing any signs of stress
Since it's just for a few minutes at a time and usually only 1-2 riders on it's probably not bad for the horse, but prolonged rides with multiple people, or very heavy persons, would surely be a bad thing. Different horses can handle different things.
I don’t think anyone that people consider to be large is _actually_ “heavy”. Due to the nature of this sport, obviously all of these women are _incredibly_ strong+muscular, but all women’s bodies react differently when like that- and therefore end up appearing very _visually_ different. Some look more elongated, toned, etc-while others’ bodies look more solid, athletic, and “thick”.
All of our bodies are genetically predisposed to be a certain way. ✌️☺️

Wow, they'd have to be seriously careful with three people jumping around on one horse in order to keep the horse from being injured. It's incredible how much work they have to put in. Better than someone who's severely obese climbing on a tiny pony though.

Miss Magic the horse is fine he has a really thick pad on his back if he was dislikeing anything he either would doing something about it or you would see his tail swishing angrily but he is not doing any of that
Don't Panic! At The Horse Show he's not refusing, he's obviously been trained to do this & is used to it. Vaulting horses all are used to carrying heavy weight on their back & know what to do.

Leni Free i do this sport and im going to compete this summer, the horses ate trained and you get disgualitified or lose points if the horse gets hurt. This horse was in no pain because it had amazing vaulters on it

Yeah right. It's one thing to be able to dance on a horse, it's a different story to know how to do it with three people and not injure the horse in the process.
