  • A woman lives in a house with 1000 cats!
Her name is Lynea Lattanzio, and she has started a unique cat shelter where the animals are not kept in tiny cages. The Cat House on the Kings is the largest no-kill shelter in California and currently cares for approximately 1,000 cats and kittens.
In her 32 years of work, Lynea Lattanzio has rescued over 30000 cats and 7000 dogs, which is probably a record. She sometimes calls herself the ultimate crazy cat lady. And if she is, the world desperately needs more crazy old ladies like her!

Lynea is certainly selfless. I admire anyone who puts others, including animals before themselves. She is unusual in a wonderful way.❤

She’s done it right! God Bless. I know she has a plan on how to replace herself when she can’t be the mother cat. She is remarkable ❤

Thank you for a truly inspiration to this woman & the place is for both 🐈 s & 🐕 s which is just awesome. What a wonderful story to start the day, may she have many more years of helping our fur babies to get homes & also rock on with your bad self & workers.

    THIS WOMEN NEEDS MENTAL HELP

Why on earth would you say that? Did you even watch the video? After a few years she went back to university to study being a vet tech so that she could better care for the cats she was saving and rehoming. She has staff to help her and the place is kept spotlessly clean. She's not just living with 1000 cats, it's a sanctuary and shelter that also rehomes cats and dogs. I don't see anything in this that requires mental help. Please explain yourself.

"Mental illness maybe", if it's crazy finding you're calling im life then being sain is just messed up.
I don't think it was mental illness proof it's not is the fact that she went back to school and advanced her knowledge of veterinary medicine to give the animals a better way of life other then in cages until they are adopted, she also hired people on to help so she didn't have to confine 6 anchors of cats to cages.
If I was looking for a job I'd ask if I could move in to.
Cats are people to and they need basics but they appreciate the finer and lesser things in life to like someone to spend time with and bond with 24/7, if I lived there there'd be a point every day I'd be on the couch berried under a pile of cats snoring away watching cartoons, sometimes cat's just need someone they can take a nap with and bond with it keeps them behaved and occupied where you don't need to watch them all hours of the day and a place full of cats normally needs to be watched all hours of the day, someone to lounge around with them gives everyone time for lunch without furr constantly wisping around, speaking of which furr and flea brushes can also have a place at the couch.
    couch.
I love cats and dogs so something like this would be a dream job not so much the veterinary care but taking care of them and just being there for them, I never took the advanced corse for small animal care because I never went to collage.
