Nice ride in Sardinia! Very beautiful countryside... great riding trails and an excellent overview of your trip. Thanks for suggesting we go back and watch this one! Excellent... ride safe Vanessa. Hope you’re able to get out and travel soon.
Thanks dude. I hope so too! Adventures await hehe ❤️
Wow, you look great on that bike, excellent cornering skills on-road and off-road skills. Thank you very much for this vid!!!
aw thanks Tom. Super happy to hear you enjoyed
Congrats! Great video on a magnificent place to ride. I confess its the first video i watched of your channel but it seams brilliant. I´m waiting for my T7 to be delivered ( i do also own a T1200 by the way) so i came across your video and immediately enjoyed the contents and way you edit the videos. I know from experience its not an easy job. IT came out fantastic. I subscribed!
Wow thank you Vasco, that really means a lot to me! Welcome to my channel xxx
Picked up my Rally Edition last week, loving it so far. Great to see them being put through their paces in Sardinia. Looked like you enjoyed yourself too.
YES dude!! Amazing, that's so exciting! Great choice. I really did enjoy that bike and trip
Great video...very interesting. Would like to do that event sometime myself.
Thanks Carl, it was a great adventure ❤️
Feels so good when things click and you just get it. I love your excitement and how eager you are to improve your skills. I'm excited about spring and the chance to improve my riding skills. I've been on a bike for the last 45 years but I'm just getting into the adventure game. You really inspire me. Thank you.
Aw thank you Torrey. I'm excited for spring too. It feels like a long winter in lock-down
When the amount of scenery, adrenaline, oxygen and impressions creates that happy high. You really conveyed that sensory overload feeling that we all love :) 👏 /Rob
aw thank you Rob, that's so lovely to hear! Big thanks for watching and commenting xx
Yo Vanessa well done 👍 girl, it really shows in yr vlogs yr enthusiasm n passion for motorbikes, the only thing for me is the cost of yr adventure course, I see that you have backup n everything’s in place for the adventure riding mmmmm it’s left me thinking 🤔 ha har.
I’ve seen a few of yr vlogs n each time I’ve clicked the thumbs up 👍 n not left a comment until now flower 🌺,
It takes skill n guts to ride the way yr doing n 🧢 off to you. I have a Tracer 700 now n I call her Smoothie n feel that I need more skills to ride her safely at mo coz am a plodder which doesn’t put me off riding at all, l just love ❤️ it. XX🤠🙏🌈🦋🌎🤗🙌
I so appreciate you taking the time to comment Gary. I love hearing feedback. Aw that's so kind. I wouldn't say I'm that good yet but I'm learning! I'll keep practicing! Thanks for the positive energy dude

You're the best, thanks for watching Rafael
Its a real good machine - of all the time - love from doha qatar
I so agree. Loved it
Great video, great views, great commentary. You made the trip look fantastic and I'm very jealous. Winter & Covid are getting depressing. One last blast tomorrow I reckon before lockdown!! 😊 Cheers Vanessa!!
Thanks Craig, i so appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. Enjoy your ride today! More lockdown...booo

I have really enjoyed mine. That was a fun video!
Good bike choice! Yey, thanks Steve, big thanks for watching and commenting
That Rally edition is sick looking! Thanks for the great videos!
Thanks so much for watching dude.
Jealous...jealous....jealous. First time I have seen the T700 in the old IT series colours. Looks superb ( and nostaglic for me. I had a IT250H when they first came out. They were fabulous!!!).
At least part of the problem with the flat corner/loose over hard is because the T700 has very long and VERY soft travel. The causes the bike to soft pitch front and back , and when doing it in a corner that translates to side to side as well. Use you engine/clutch/rear brake soft drag and the bike won't feel like it's sea sick. Constant throttle and control speed with the BACK brake drag ( think trials in mud turn) and that allow a constant load on the front to keep grip as well.
Thanks thanks Greg, that's mega helpful! Thank you for taking the time to watch and also give me tips! Amazing
@@TheGirlOnABike More than happy to contribute if possible. You and Fortnine are my fav bike channels by far . ( Itchy Boots is really a travel channel rather than a bike channel par se.)
Aw that's so cool. Thank you. That means so much for me. Yey. I'm smiling 😀🙏
best bike i ever owned.....and i owned a lot. Again a very entertaining video. Well done Vanessa.
Glad you enjoyed it! They're great bikes
Awesome riding and a great bike. Those t7's are impressive👌

As a new rider (legally at least), I am really enjoying your videos.

Mega bike choice Bob, such amazing machines, thanks for watching
Looked like great fun , I almost bought the 700 as it felt so good ... almost
Almost hehe, there is still time!
That looks awesome. I have to get a ride on one of these
You should, I was impressed. If you're in the UK, ADV Adventure Bike Festival is a great place to try lots of different adv bikes.
@@TheGirlOnABike in the US. seems a lot less events this year due to covid and all
Ah yeah. It's really changing the events world. I miss it too
As usual, looks super fun!!!
It was! such fun, thanks for watching
You like that Yam for sure. Well presented, good job
aw thank you, that really means a lot to me! Thanks for watching
Several of these off road adventure bike travel companies all over the world have bought fleets of these bikes. It would be wise to analyse their choice if you're considering an inter/intra-continental off-road oriented adventure. Just think of the primary considerations for such a venture: comparatively modest purchase cost (similar KTMs and BMWs are wallet-lighteners), proven reliability (that engine has seen excellent service in other machines for a few years already), ease of maintenance (virtually no electronics) and comprehensive OEM and aftermarket parts availability. T7 ticks all those boxes. Marketing genius by Yamaha - even that name sounds coolly iconic!
Good point! When businesses make the choice all over the world it definitely shows something. Little little bombs. I really do feel it's the Defender of the adv world somehow. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment. Super helpful points you make.
Wow what an epic trip. That was fantastic. Plus you were in Italy so I think speeding is a legal requirement there. Great that you are planning on opening the track day rabbit hole. Do you have room for two track day bikes in that garage of yours?
haha thanks Simon. Two track bikes?! Yikes so I need two? This really is a rabbit hole haha
@@TheGirlOnABike LOL does Ruckymonster not get to play?
Oh!! Haha that's so funny. I didn't even think of that.
Great job!! That first morning looked probably like you, I mean Gorgeous!!
aw hehe thank you xxx
Awesome episode, it seems the T 700 is the bike to get if you can find one. They are super popular here in Canada and are in short supply!
Awesome machines for sure. Thanks Colin
I like the black one ❤️
good choice!
Just seen on tv !! Good work Dainese !! Beautiful isle and wonderful roads !!👍
WOW that's so cool! Love that you saw the Sky programme, that was such a buzz. Big thanks for finding me a taking the time to comment dude. Yey
@@TheGirlOnABike for shure ! Loved your trips with the bmw Gs. I ride a Ducati Multistrada 1260 now! 👍 cheers
When I watch itchy boots it dosent give me a feel she loves motor bikes , your videos the way you talk about specs gives me a feel for sure you born for this ❤️❤️ riaz from doha qatar 🇶🇦
😊
Wow. wow. That is such a lovely lovely comment, thank you. That really means so much to me. Big thanks for watching and taking the time to comment and let me know that. Big hugs

Aw dude. You're lovely. Thank you
👌🏻
thanks dude
Just chopped in my Harley street glide s for a T7. Pick her up next Thurs..... Damn I've never been this excited about a bike 😂
Magnifique vidéo i love it
Cool Video...Cool Ride...Glad you enjoyed yourself Girl :-) Hope your good :-)
Yey cheers Russ, it was such a fun adventure. Gosh I learned a lot too!
I put money down on a 2021 Africa twin Adventure Sport I've been waiting on the bike since July 30th you guys are lucky over there in the UK I've watched a lot of UA-cam videos I'm going to say probably 95% of the videos and I've watched are from the UK
So far I haven't even been able to sit on one nobody has had one
Brilliant video with a good balance of on/off bike shots. Great riding. The Yamaha seems to be an ideal bike for anyone wanting an on off road bike, not have all the tech should make it a good reliable bike for anyone.
Thanks dude. Yeah I so agree!! Stay tunfor my Africa Twin video as that's a mega contender
Ok would you sat yamaha or bmw gs
If it was more off road focused Yam
looked fun, try and fit an internal mic to the helmet cam as wind noise is too much! and try turning down the brightness and contrast as its way too high ;)
thanks ude, soo appreciate any tips. So I got a mic adapter for the gopro but you can only use it with the side of the gopro off...which then means water is a problem. I'm so confused how you can do it in off road conditions without risking the gopro. Any ideas?
Great video! Shared
Thank you thank you! So love that you always share, thanks Richard
@@TheGirlOnABike you are very welcome! I always enjoy your great videos my beautiful friend
A whole gaggle of T 7's , how good would that sound !
haha so true! Music to the ears hehe
Very good work👍👍
Yey. Thank you! Cheers!
Pedazo de genia !!! 👏👏👏👏
Convenida
Quick question… thinking about doing the Himalaya tour with Dainese this summer. Do you get to keep the gear after the tour, or do you have to give it back?
Yeah you keep it. Amazing kit too. You’ll have an epic time
dont know why but most bikes forget the abs off sellection. tough i heard there is a solution.. 1 wire or somthing to cut. dont know for shure jet. but might look in to it as i own one. ice ceramic
Oh ok
Tennere good choice of bike
Gosh I loved it! So capable
Deffo I agree with you I’m 5ft 1 so no chance for me lol but I’m glad that people appreciate thease bikes coz it’s underrated whould love to see a Africa twin if poss or a ninja h2
I'm sure I can make that happen! If covid allows. Gur haha
Yeah may b on hold for some time just focus on yourself and famley during thease times n look forward to the bags of fun and rides after
Were you using the factory tyres on the trip or something more offroad biased.
Good question! We rode with the Pirelli Scorpion Rally Street and I’ve never experienced such an incredible tire. Never once did I feel an ounce of distrust. They were always there gripping and firm. Road performance for acceleration, braking grip, high speed cornering traction, and off-road feel and authority. In every moment, dry, wet, muddy, sandy, tarmac, they held strong. The confidence this gave me to really throttle on was incredible. It’s impressive to have a tyre that really can do it all.
@@TheGirlOnABike didn't realise the t7 was such a capable bike.
Nor me! I loved it. I'm going to try the Africa Twin later this week so I'm excited to see how it compares as that's meant to be really off road capable
Sardinia is one of the Blue Zones in the world, where people live long long lives. Pecorino cheese!!
👍
How tall are you? I want to buy something for me and my GF she is 165cm, I am not sure if it will fit her in the long run.
I'm 169cm with 69cm inside leg 🫶
@@TheGirlOnABike thank you!
Can't wait to see what Kawasaki brings out to replace the Klr650.
do they have a release date? I'm totally unfamiliar with Kawasaki
@@TheGirlOnABike just hints and covered pictures at this point, nothing concrete. Think a lot of manufacturers are probably holding back on 2020 releases because of convid so probably next year.
Ah yeah. Fair point. Ducati have the Multistrada V4 launch this month and that's not going to happen like it was 🤷♀️
Глаза красивые ;)
👍
Great attitude.Follow someone better than you.Get coaching and practice and practice.Great vid.
Absolutely, that's it! Thanks Richard. So appreciate your time commenting

2:45 wrong side of the road Girl ;)
haha yeah, only way to pass the sheep
@@TheGirlOnABike naughty girl Vanessa ;) so Tenere 700 or 1100 Africa Twin for you?
@@fabrycs For me it’s not about being able to say "this" is the best bike. Because every bike has its drawbacks and its strength so it’s more about working out what sort of riding you are wanting to do. For me the Tenere is very much the barebones bike, and slightly more off-road focused as far as doing a little bit more technical stuff. But it doesn’t have the technology to help you out and certainly doesn’t have the road capability. The Africa Twin though gives you a much better road experience - far far superior on tarmac. But it’s also incredibly capable off-road, but it is a much bigger bike so for that more technical riding it’s a little bit on the bigger side. Saying that if you’re wanting more if you all-rounder the Africa Twin would be my recommendation. I love it. If you’re wanting an off-road focus then the Tenere would be my suggestion... if you're really wanting something so big. It all depends on the riding you're after :-D . Hope that helps dude
@@TheGirlOnABike Totally agree with your opinions, I won't be doing much off-road and I also have a GS650 to throw down the lanes if needs to :) just not getting along with the 1290 Adv and looking to replace, and I definitely find more comfortable ADV bikes so my eyes were on these 2, strangely I found the Africa Twin more flickable, out of the 2 the Yam felt more difficult to manage, especially at slow speeds while I instantly felt connected to the Africa Twin. Thank you for your reply, and I hope you enjoyed my homeland :)
