I find this to be the best battle theme of the series. The emotions it holds strikes me hard. It's just...beautiful. I absolutely loved fighting Vanitas as both Ventus and Aqua. This game was so great. I'm sad it had to end so fast.
Megaboss i doubt it. What would be the point of having another dark half character when Vanitas already exists. Plus, people would be annoyed that there was another duplicate character running around
Sora: You look.... like me?! Vanitas: Heh. Roxas: HEY. THAT'S MY JOB. Ventus: Uh... Xion: Ummm... guys... I'm out of time, again. Sora/Vanitas/Roxas/Ventus: WHAT?!
Vanitas: The X-blade is made of your heart, too, idiot. If you destroy it, your heart will vanish forever. Ventus: Whatever it takes. Anything to save Terra and Aqua. Vanitas: Hmph, It's always about your friends, isn't it? Ven: At least I have some! Me: Oooh… BUUUUURN!
***** now i cant say that, he made ALOT of mistakes in his story. As Aqua said he put himself far too close to the darkness and at the very end he took off his armor so he could bring out the darkness which is why he lost.
This song is just spectacular. The fact that it's theme in and of itself, but includes so many other characters' themes in it... It's almost indescribably awesome.
Vanitas: NOW I SHALL SHOW YOU THA TRUE POWAH OF MY SHINY KEYBLADE!! Ventus: Oh brother who gave this guy drugs again? Vanitas: YOU MUST JOIN SHINY!!!! Ventus: Uh okay how about I destroy both you and shiny? Vanitas: SHINY IS ETERNAL!!!! Ventus: o_o Okay man you're really starting to scare me I should just kill you now.
@createDXemnas I know right!this theme is so epic that I'm replaying the fight over and over just to hear that. OH,and also for Ventus's best comeback line throughout the whole game! "Hmph,it's always about your friends,is it?" "At least I have some!"
This is an epic track, Venitas, Ventus & Roxas themes all in here & it has a really unique sound to it that unlike all the other kingdom hearts themes that are just epic, this sounds like the sort of thing you could dance to!
beginner: too easy piece of cake Standard: wasn't to easy but also wasn't a pushover Proud: Putting up more of a fight HAHAHA a worthy opponent Critical: FUCK THIS FIGHT, FUCK THIS FIGHT, FUCK...................THIS...................FIGHT 😡😡😡😡😡
Was very easy on crit. Except of course: this God damn last word bug. You actually need to activate it from a distance because if you don't, you have to build up the meter again.
Now THAT is a normal extended version of the Ventus Finale! Great job looping it, I didn't even notice the loopy spot (Though I did since I myself 'broke my head' trying to normally loop this melody. :)
A combination of Ventus', Sora's, Roxas', and Vanitas' theme songs into one epic theme, with a beautiful arena, perfect setup, and the greatest video game goal I've ever seen: Finish him. Truly this is one of the best, if not the best, final bosses of all time.
I love how this song evokes the feeling of hope. Actually, come to think of it, arguably all of the three sub-final boss themes do that. The REAL final boss theme, on the other hand, does not--it evokes a feeling of pure evil, like you're facing the devil himself.
Each one of the themes represent the characters conflict at the time. Rage Awakened reflects Terra's determination to get his body back from Xehanort combined with his anger toward Xehanort for tricking him. Unbreakable Chains reflects Ventus' inner conflict with his dark self, knowing that even if he succeeds, he'll be lost forever. The Key reflects Aqua being reluctant to fight Ventus, who's possessed by Vanitas and now wields the X-Blade, the weapon said to be able to control Kingdom Hearts itself. It also represents a sense of hopelessness. Dismiss is similar to The Key in that sense, as Aqua is reluctant to fight a possessed version of Terra.
In an interview with the lead designer, he said that the Anti-Sora form is the result of Sora becoming a heartless.Until I read that, I assumed Vanitas was the reason too.
@DuskChill i agree with you, some people say the Kingdom Key came 1st. But they forgot that the X-Blade was created NEXT with Kingdom Hearts (Kingdom Hearts came 1st before ANYTHING), So you could say that the X-blade was the 1st Keyblade to be made.
If ventus is able to “sleep” and be ok in the 10 year span, we are definitely seeing Vanitas. It also would make sense for him to be one of he seekers of darkness.
@hoodontheroof It's part of Ventus's theme, the part of Ventus's theme that is also Roxas's theme. and if you notice the part immediately following at 1:24 to 1:47 is also part of Ventus's theme even though the music seems to change, it is still Ventus's theme. and then Sora's theme is at 2:08 to 2:20
Vanitas' voice actor was so awesome I can't listen to this track without hearing 'What's yours is mine !', 'Forge the X-blade !', 'There's no escape !' etc...
That's because she worked on the soundtracks of 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep and Re:coded at the same time and had problems finishing it on time, so she asked two other composers to help her with Birth by Sleep.
@negima123 that it's to the extent they don't sound like stereo typical videogame music like the mario theme or crash bandicoot theme, but just so well pieced together that they could pass off as real songs :D
Looking at it from the order the games came out, the χ-blade is based off the kingdom keys keyblade, but chronologically the fact that Ventus's heart help create the χ-blade might have caused Sora's keyblade to take some form of it, the Kingdom Keys keyblade.
@negima123 Well, we never get the red version and the white version is called Void Gear... I figure since Vanitas Remnant, who originally had the white version, had the Leitmotif "Enter The Void" then Vanitas, whose Leitmotif is "Enter the Darkness", would have his called the Dark Gear. We never got confirmation regarding it.
@TheHichigo Ventus is in Sora's heart, that's why Roxas looks like Sora, and because Sora and Ventus are connected in their hearts, that is why Vanitas looks like Sora, because Vanitas is Ventus the way Ventus was never meant to be, thus stemming from Ventus. If Ventus were in Riku's heart the way he is in Sora's, Vanitas would probably look like Riku, so Vanitas is probably faceless to a degree, hence the mask. The reason Sora can wield the Keyblade is Ventus being in his heart.
@MetalXXGod It might take a while, but I'll just start uploading Dissidia 012 Duodecim's music as soon as I can rip a proper image from it (Title Screen, Awesome Summon, Character image, etc.).
@Aryboy1997 It's because when Ventus was slowly dieing after having Vanitas separated from him, a new-born Sora gave him the light to complete his heart. If anyone else did this instead, Vanitas would have taken on their appearance. Ventus's light and darkness being separated also explain his loss of memory.
Sorry for asking, but I'm playing through BbS now... and I still have a boatload of questions. XD I've finished Terra and Ven's parts, and started Aqua's... do they answer more questions in Aqua's part and the little bit after it? |D I don't want the answers, I just want to know if more stuff is revealed. ;3 Also, thanks for the upload. I love this music~
It could also be referring to simply Ventus (who is most definitely a prisoner, even if he can't exist outside of Sora's heart), but it's also quite possible that it's referring to both of them, which would make sense given Vanitas's appearance.
oh man when I played, the second fight started at 1:24, then the glass broke and my hands were shaking; it seemed like it was the epic grand finale for Ventus/Vanitas
@goodman2008 If you Beat the Lingering Spirit you get its KeyBlade which is a black version of the normal Vanitas Keyblade. This is also in Fiinal Mix of course
@TurtleManLiosis Because Vanitas is part of Ventus, and when Ventus' heart was split to make Vanitas, Ventus kinda borrowed some of Sora's heart to make up for it. So part of Sora was in Ventus, and Ventus and Vanitas have linked hearts, so that is why he looks like Sora... Kinda... Its hard to describe, it doesn't really make sense...
@goodman2008 Vanitas Remnant, one of the Extra Bosses, gives you the Void Gear, which has the same shape as his Keyblade, except white where his is red. Of course, earning the Void Gear is no small task, and managing to get it means you can face the second Extra Boss at the Land Of Departure. Just pull into the Summit at any point in any character's story at which point you can enter the Land Of Departure (best point is the endgame, but if you want a challenge as Terra/Aqua, try the start).
@CreationX172 His main Keyblade is called the Void Gear, but later when he and Ventus become one, he obtains the χ-Blade (pronounced "Kee-Blade" or "Kye-Blade").
Information: Defeat the Ragnarok before it consumes the universe! Start battle Line: (Ragnarok Roar) End battle Line: it is done. The ultimate beast has been destroyed. Losing Line: *(CRUNCH!)*
Actually, Takeharu Ishimoto made this one, as well as the regular Vanitas theme. It's understandable why you'd think Yoko did it though, because she was the sole composer for the series up until this game: Birth by Sleep.
Wow, I read a comment and it basically said that Vanitas could be the dark side of Sora that we thought was just a heartless, possibly just assuming a different form. Now I just imagined an epic battle between Sora and Vanitas in Dive into the Heart........wow.......dream fight right there.
Are you kidding me? I fucking adore this song, one of the best in the game. Telling someone that they can't dislike something is small minded and childish.
Vanitas: "What's yours is mine!"
Ven: "You don't have friends though, and I do."
Seija : "Who needs friends anyways ?"
v:
If you think abt it Terra (Xemnas) and now Aqua are kinda his friends too lol
@@21sonicstyle I’m late but I think terra and Aqua are more like family at this point tbh
"Hmph. It's always about your friends, isn't it?"
"At least I have some!"
VENTUS WINS
FATALITY
FLAWLESS VICTORY
+phantasticgoose Fitting, seeing how your last info box in Ven's story just says "Finish him!"
And then he starts preaching about "the power of friendship". Like, Ven. Stahp.
**Ventus uses sick burn**
**Ventus wins and Vanitas needs a full restore for that burn**
He's gonna need a Triple Blizzaga
My name is Misha and I declare war Will it be enough to freeze the burn that was dealt, though? O:
0:35 Ven's Theme
1:07 Rox's Theme
1:24 Sora's Theme
Vanitas : it's always about your friends
Ventus : at least i have some
Vanitas : oh no, he has verbally destroyed me
such beautiful soundtrack it's like you fighting you're own self in you're nightmares and trying beat the negative you
That is literally what it is
Actually in a way, it kind of is now that I think about it. it so fits that scenario
Dante Vergil Semanko Kingdom Hearts BBS: you fight your own darkness and your friends darkness too
Persona 4: You fight your friends' shadows
I find this to be the best battle theme of the series. The emotions it holds strikes me hard. It's just...beautiful. I absolutely loved fighting Vanitas as both Ventus and Aqua. This game was so great. I'm sad it had to end so fast.
This is the most badass theme song in video game history.
Lord of the Castle?
@@teriyaki_chicken lord of the castle is incredible
3 words: Zanza the Divine
I seriously hope Vanitas returns as a boss in KH3 with this as his theme. It'd be epic to see Sora fight him.
They'll probably make a (Whatever Vanitas is) of Sora instead.
Megaboss i doubt it. What would be the point of having another dark half character when Vanitas already exists. Plus, people would be annoyed that there was another duplicate character running around
Well Vanitas is part of ventus now that he's whole.
ventus vs sora ?
Sora: You look.... like me?!
Vanitas: Heh.
Roxas: HEY. THAT'S MY JOB.
Ventus: Uh...
Xion: Ummm... guys... I'm out of time, again.
Sora/Vanitas/Roxas/Ventus: WHAT?!

+Snow'White well Ventus' theme comes from Roxas' theme

+Kamron Edwards i haven't played KH II yet so i don't know his personialty, but if it's like ventus's, thats lazy
"My friends are my power, and i'm theirs!"
Ventus definitely had the best final boss out of all of them. Although I must say , BBS had t 3 of the best final battles of the series
Agreed.
terra was far better. The difficulty, the epic showdown, the theme music, the build up, and the end.
***** now i cant say that, he made ALOT of mistakes in his story. As Aqua said he put himself far too close to the darkness and at the very end he took off his armor so he could bring out the darkness which is why he lost.
agreed, second best is terras, just for that "oh shit" moment when you realize your playing as lingering will and that it has the same fight theme
I'm sorry, but You can't compare kh 1 final boss, re:com final boss and kh2 final boss... just my opinikn

4:42 to 4:43 is the worst part

Tetsuya Nomura doesn't take orders from you...he only takes orders from his bag of weed he smokes before writing the next games story.

In love with fighting with this dude cuz of the song xD and Vanitas' jsut awesome~
I Love the beginning, I just wonder if they will add to it...Like a full dark ominous theme =-= So haunting...lol
