@@hollifrasier491 I just looked up the compton cemetary. It says before this owner, it was black owners who themselves always kept the graves in bad condition and gangs would tag up the place. Stop blaming the current owner when the compton cemetary has been shit with black owners too.
I drive by often on my delivery routes and I’m always so saddened to see this places, there is trash everywhere, there’s no grass it is so neglected, what a shame for the love ones buried there and that beautiful building. The owner has no shame.
As a young child in the 80’s I used to be fascinated with the beautiful buildings there. I went back to visit and drove by there a week ago and was so heartbroken to see the condition of the grounds.
Police Chase Videos, I agree. The money that these cemetaries bring in, mgt. and/or owner can afford to hire round the clock security during business hours. And then lock-up the buildings. I also have a five month old niece buried there as well which prompted my family to investigate the claims of unkempt graves, mausoleums and poor management. Seeking legal redress is not bad at all, however the final resting place of a loved one should be cleaned on a timely basis.

this isnt the only cemetery, I attended a burial last week at angelus rosedale i think thats the name, the one on washington blvd. that cemetery is horrible..unkempt "grass" if you even want to call it that, roads all messed up, the "grass" is so dead that it got caught in the bottom of my skirt and i spent the first 5 minutes at the repast getting all of the debris out of my skirt. I also went to speak to the family and tripped over some warped tombstone that was coming out of ground
Call on Angelus Funeral Home who owns the cemetery and file a complaint with them. If they don't follow up, call the California Board of Funeral Directors.
He's a good man working diligently to fix the mess. When previous owners left the mausoleums unlocked, windows were broken and all kinds of crimes and abuse occurred in those buildings. Leave him alone and he will get it fixed. Walk around the city and see how many unattended buildings are not locked....
This cemetery and the mausoleum has been in disrepair for YEARS and he's failed to do anything. All he has is EXCUSES,EXCUSES,EXCUSES. The cemetery needs new management. I hope this lady and other family members file a class action lawsuit on this man until he repairs the mausoleum and cemetery grounds with a quickness.
