I could care less about the beach all together.. I will walk and pick up shells, but you will never ever find me laying in the sun (I had rather be fishing) or deeper than waist deep in salt water. I love scalloping but don’t much care for the way salt water leaves you feeling. In other words I want something in return. Not just swimming to swim. I have had Multiple close encounters with sharks and rays so I had rather stay out of grass or seaweed. Nearly kissed an 8’ bull shark once and didn’t know better than to tie my stringer of trout around my waist the first time I went fishing for Spotted Sea Trout. I had 3 or 4 on my stringer and was about to wade back to shore when a large black tip grabbed the stringer, snatching me off my feet and dragging me before the stringer finally broke. VERY valuable lesson learned.
