Kone Hydraulic Elevator at Gauchos Do Sul (fmr. Up), Highland Village in Houston, TX. - 2024 Take

Video Recorded on October 11, 2024: I’m sure y’all remember this particular elevator from the former Up Restaurant here that just automatically went up all the way up to the third floor that was supposedly locked, and parking there without the doors opening. Back when I didn’t know well about elevators at than time, I thought it was initially messed up. Now, it doesn’t have that feature anymore. But one of the car operating stations was already coming loose with a missing screw. Installed in late 2000’s (sometimes before 2007 when Kone discontinued hydraulic elevators).

Are you sure that’s KSS 200? That looks like an eco disk indicator.

KSS 500 are the fixtures. EcoDisc is the motor.

I didn't see a piston underneath the car so I assume it's an HH (Holeless Hydro). Also, the KONE Hydros in Rockville Town Square's Garages in MD are FIVE TIMES WORSE than this! They are CONSTANTLY breaking down and one of them is HORRENDUSLY LOW ON OIL!
