I love UT sand. Once it clicks, sand can be some of the parts of the trail you look forward to. For me it was realizing that it likes aggression, steering with your feet and getting up in the gears - 3rd or 4th is the happy place.
Noice!
Greta video as always guys!
lower the tire pressure and increase the compression a few clicks
LOTS OF GAS!!!!You steer with the throttle, giver the beans 🤙. When she starts getting squirrely poor the coals to her(WOT)
Sounds like a party! A few days of sand helps to get me back into things. Andrew is a sand noob. What fun!
I find a modern geometry MTB easier to ride in snow than one from 90's. Desert sled for sand.
that was pretty damn good!
Bike setup is important . More sag in the rear and pushing the fork tubes down in the clamps wii help
Them 4 strokes always sound like they are struggling in sand.
add some extra sag in the rear, drop tire pressure carry more speed BRAAAP!
Light is right when it comes to tackling the sand; potential for higher consequences on the big bikes. Nicely done👍
Get those rpm's up my friend. Lugging in sand is really hard on your clutch.
Yikes, for real? Our clutches are not slipping, just lugging the engine.
We'll have to get you down to Edmonton for some sand training 😛thats all we have here lol
Nobody goes to Edmonton on purpose Matt :P
We just wait for unsuspecting wonderers and then trap them with our crappy weather 😆
your going way too slow!
Those ruts are deep, and the sand is very squishy there! :P And yes, we need more practice and to go faster. :)
