Should have spent more on international free agency!!! If your not going to spend in real free agency. There were some great young prospects in this class
Scott Harris is great. I love his ideas about stressing on base percentage, hitters that work the count, put bat to ball, and here for example making Comerica Park better, more fair, and the idea of new outfield seats closer to the action is smart and revenue producing.
@@brandonday2494 On the contrary he's spending on what Harris and Hinch have already pointed out: Improve the minor league affiliates. Hitting into the wind at Comerica.... Hitting with the wind at Tiger Stadium!!!! It's like nobody knows that.... (In addition to the dimensions) How many people pay to see a pitchers duel???? LOL....

Total BS and double-talk here. The only valid item mentioned is to put padding over the places where chain-link fencing was exposed to players chasing fly balls. Old Tigers Stadium / Briggs was 440 feet to center field. I don't think that hurt "fan's experience" any. No one moved that fence in to see "more catches at the fence". And the Tigers won things there. Face facts, Mr young new Pres of B-ball Ops. The talent on the roster does not measure up, it isn't the configuration of the fences causing the team to lose. In fact, the weakened pitching staff (how many decent relief pitchers did you lose this off-season to free agency? , before we even begin to talk about all the injuries and IL time spent by Tigers pitchers in 2022) will give up just as many or more HR's as the Tigers add with this configuration change. This is just a cover-up for a bad roster. (How long before we get rid of Baez? I have to ask that.)
Tarik Skubal gave up 35 long balls in 2021. Funny that we brought back a guy who gave up the worse since being in a Tiger uniform in Matt Boyd(when healthy) Expect a lot from the opposing team as well.
I guess the Tigers are waiting for Cabrera’s contract to expire before they sign a big named player. And even then they’ll have a budget on how much they’ll spend. The Mike Illitch spending crazy days are over.
@@MrACDC34 That Luxury Tax that screwed his players out of was never resolved from last year. The idea of Comerica's design alone was a mega fail. Knock it down and build an updated replica of Tiger Stadium.
No, go back to Michigan and Trumbull to build the replica.
Use Comerica for hockey.
@@rayrussell6258 I wouldn't mind that at all.

Even thought he spent 20 million dollars for players, im assuming it’s probably the worst
He's doing great so far., agreed. Not his fault that Ilitch doesn't want to spend much.

Exciting plays? How bout winning a game?
The Tigers should have moved the fences in 15 years ago.
New yard for Illitch’s AAA team to play in - just window-dressing to cover up the big middle finger Chrissy is throwing the fans.
Yep
Hes effectively building a team that hits .210 as team..
yes and we will all be air conditioned from the breeze each time Baez swings and misses.

We did this so we can bring back Castellanos to have a 3rd baseman right lol

Wow it is so nice to have an articulate Tigers PoBO. Scott Harris has moved more needles in 4 months than Al did in 8 years.
He has done next to nothing to help the big league ball club. It will be a miracle if they win 70 games.
