Mane and Salah were, too, seemed pretty close a few years back, but it seems like that relationship is not as good as it was before. So, the question is; why is that?
why is the relationship between Mo Salah and Sadio Mane not so great anymore? Of course, we don’t have all the facts as we do not know what transpires behind closed doors, but from our observation, here are some of the reasons the pair don’t get along so well anymore.

Mane is one player who has a high work rate compared to other players in the front forward line strike force.Another asset of Mane is his unselfish attitude of giving a pass to his team player at the right time.He is all over the paddock.

What Mané has been doing to SALAH (apart from his usual selfishness intended to deprive SALAH of scoring) since the beginning of the 2nd season (2018/2019) is passing very standard passes to SALAH that are very unlikely to be converted to goals!.....And if there is any glimmer that those passes might be utilized by SALAH to score, he gives the ball to someone else!, or attempts to finish it himself ... OR gives it to SALAH in a very poor finish so as to deprive SALAH of making the most of it.

They are both on good terms and close friends and respect each other. Mane got his goals from the passes of Salah. This is competitive football. Salah also managed to score goals from Mane's passes. A couple weeks ago in one of my youth games I was wide open in front of goal. For three seconds I was wide open while my teammate tree to dribble and shoot. He did a good shot but the keeper easily saved it. In the moment I yelled "pass the ball" because I was wide open with a great chance to score. My mom grounded me because she said it wasn't in the greater interest of the team. It was and we lost. We could have scored. It was like Mane and Salah. Is Salah selfish? Definitely, but same can be said with most goal scorers, aguero, the old Kane, inzaghi, and even Lewa sometimes, for all Liverpool’s ability they didn’t have a go-to guy for goals till Salah came along, mane might be the best all round player, but he isn’t a prolific goal scorer and if you want to win titles you need a prolific goal scorer, I’m trying to sympathize with Salah here

Salah has the most assists because he is a world class player, but it's still a stupid argument to say he isn't selfish due to his assists because he could have EVEN MORE assists if he wasn't selfish at times and the team could have more total goals scored which is the most important thing. This is spot on. I’ve been saying this for a few years now. Mane gets no love, it’s all about Salah. I’ve been to games where Mane has been terrific, but only Salah’s name is sung.
Salah is too greedy in the box and for me, a lifelong Liverpool fan, I’m sick of it. I say this with complete honesty so don’t be shocked but I’d rather Salah leave than Mane. He does more for the team full stop. Yes Salah gets goals but who do you think puts him in that position? Mane and the team. Yes he has scored some worldly individual goals that are complete brilliance and unbelievable technical skill but….. we are Liverpool and no player is bigger than the club. I’d hate to see them go but at the moment something has got to give.

I’m sorry, salah is clearly better than mane, you can’t say that they are “equal”. And salah has more assists and passes to mane than mane has to salah. Also Ofc you are not gonna be recognised as often when you ghost for basically 2 seasons. He suddenly has 2 months of good form, where he isn’t even doing much better than salah, and people r tryna say he’s better than salah or equal to him. Only reason this whole thing startled was cuz mane had a tantrum when salah didn’t pass to him, even tho he doesn’t pass to salah, and actually passes much less as well. Only difference is that salah didn’t make a big deal of it. I love both of them and there was a time when I thought of them as both equal, but I’m sorry. Salah has shown he’s better, based on consistency and especially the last 2 seasons
