Makes me cry man.. fuck... My generation (for who is now 18-20 yrs old) will make some awesome music.. and King krule is one of the proof... Brace yourselves, gen Y is about to rise
t eats away at the brain As your strain to try and maintain, felt the same I'm always to blame It took my days out of place And integrates and negotiate A loss of faith Now I'm surrounded They saw me fall from here But not hit the ground And I's been dying The body found and my soul was left to drown Suffocated in concrete It took a hold of me Put me on repeat Now your last routine And you start to leave Towards an escape But I feel sustained It eats away at the brain As your strain to try and maintain, felt the same I'm always to blame It took my days out of place And integrates and negotiate A loss of faith
@Alen5th if you aren't a fan of his voice or singing, you can surely respect his lyrics and songwriting/producing abilities. His sound is fresh and unique, but I'm sure you'll soon realize that and be coming back with the bandwagon when he blows up :)
So mad I missed him in NYC - three dates and here and I had no clue. AHHH - fire his publicist - lol. This is as cool as the other side of the pillow. Skills.
@badfish126 I have Massive Attack and Portishead and some other "trip-hop" music on my hard-drive, I just never got around to giving it a listen. Thank you so much for the recs, you've given me a lot to search up.
@badfish126 You should listen to Boards of Canada if you haven't already, Black Moth Super Rainbow-Falling Through A Field, Aphex Twin-Melodies from Mars and My Bloody Valentine-Tremolo. I listened to DJ Cam and I loved, getting some of his stuff right now. Oh and Seefeel-Succour. I find that listening to the album before I go to sleep makes me peaceful and relaxed
@DonegalPALL i found this band because of the needle drop... is that a bad thing? i wouldnt have found them otherwise... and now i can enjoy an awesome band!
@Alien5p So, in your opinion, what dates define Gen Y? I always thought of 1985 - 1995. And if you're talking about that pretentious "my generation is better than yours 'cause we got pokemon and we are the Harry Potter gen", then you're right! That IS bullshit and no generation is better than any other. But what I'm saying is that, for gen Y, we already see a number of artists rising that are making great music. King Krule being one of them. They will inspire the music for gen Z!
@CyberSpectrumND Dude read my other comments; I said that, to me, gen Y it's from 1985 to 1995. Okay I admit I could broaden the years of people of my generation in my original comment but geez, I know it isn't two years -.-
@truepanthersounds hey true panthersounds im in love with ur label i was wondering if u could perhaps check out my music and letting me know wat u think, thanks a million
Heterosexual Women consider (even now, after 40 years of Feminism) good-looking & somehow innocent Boys still as their biggest Rivalry... I don't think, that this will ever change... ;-(
