Executioner is and always have been the best crowd control, being able to get over 700k dmg in a single fallen game.. What are you on? Mortar cant even get close, tops 300k

Yet, here we are, where if I gave you the choice of ranger or mortar for a solo fallen match, you’re almost always choosing ranger over mortar, because even against 3 enemies, RANGER DEALS MORE DPS (rangers’ 1,500 DPS against mortars’ 1,200 DPS). Here’s my idea: One mortar now deals 200 DPS, with 100 DPS for the enemy directly hit, & 100 DPS for all enemies indirectly hit. So 4 mortars would deal 800 DPS against one enemy, while rangers deal 1,200. Against 2 enemies, mortars deal 1,200 DPS, while rangers deal 1,350 DPS. But against 3 enemies, rangers deal 1,500 DPS, while mortars deal 1,600 DPS.
Corso made a few mistakes 1) even though mortar has way more range unless spikes are maxed trapper will always be placing down spikes therefor it theoretically has infinite range 2) same goes for having a small range being a disadvantage it doesn't really matter what its range is it will aways be placing spikes (unless using bear trap to stun and then you might want a bigger range)

It can deal with high health enemies IF you have enough bear traps. I've done this strategy where I place 6 trappers and slowly upgrade them, usually in the middle of the map. Once you get max, you want to have 2 trappers have bear trap, since each trapper can place 10 bear traps. That is around 6600 dmg you're storing right there! Also remember to put the bear trap ones to strongest, so just incase a boss comes in and they have a extra trap.
Actually Bloon Tower Defense Spike Factory' spike also have a lifespan You don't see them despawn because partly there's no timer. And partly they cluttered under bunch of other spikes
Defense melting is useful but we can still beat without it. It still can be useful but now there are very strong towers not saying Pyro and other defense melters are bad. It doesn't take a large portion of its utility. They probably took it away to balance

But the trapper can only attack in a small radius (accumulating damage). The mortar has stable damage per attack and a gigantic radius. A trapper is not a mortar! The Mortar deals low damage across the entire map, while the Trapper deals devastating damage in a small area. I think that the mortar together with the trapper will become the best splash damage brother that cannot be compared.

i got the trapper as soon as the gatling/trapper buff and its an absolute beast. it soloed till wave 22 when i got my gatling down and carried to wave 35 but we leaked jesters and died :/
so why would i use gatling for crowd control if trapper can do similar job for way less the price? why would i use gatling for single target when engi does it better for the same price? gatling just feel out of place now; it isnt bad, but it certainly doesnt feel like it should just be so mid (its kinda like gold mini, where it really only act as a flex but i dont see much practical use of it)
I use Gatling as sub dps and as a good general tower. Just because trapper has the better cc while engi has the better dps doesn't mean Gatling can do the inbetween while not outclassing both of them
@@tapgames3465 but if you want to fit in that "sub-dps" role, there is pursuit, which I still find better in that field than gatling as you can still somewhat choose if you want a bit more CC or DPS, and as added bonus its rocket can hit lead too. You also don't have to be in FPS mode constantly which might lead to u messing up other stuff. The only advantage I see for gatling is it can hit very specific enemy like fallen jester when you are in FPS but a lvl 175 tower 35k just for that???

If they want strong DPS buff it back to the old stats and either completely remove pierce (FPS only give inf range whilsts normal have very limited range) or just keep the pierce at 1.5

They should be a random trap option that way the tower chooses what trap it places instead of the player.
I put spike traps infront of the mine traps so weaker enemies won't waste the mine traps if the trappers are below lvl 4

But the trapper can only attack in a small radius (accumulating damage). The mortar has stable damage per attack and a gigantic radius. A trapper is not a mortar! The Mortar deals low damage across the entire map, while the Trapper deals devastating damage in a small area. I think that the mortar together with the trapper will become the best splash damage brother that cannot be compared.
I think trapper could be a low S because for the stalling remember how op sledger used to be? Yeah that’s déjà vu, plus combine the stunning with something like brawler a KB tower the synergy could make trapper low S

the decrease in damage is green (which i think would be red due to decreased dmg)

i got the trapper as soon as the gatling/trapper buff and its an absolute beast. it soloed till wave 22 when i got my gatling down and carried to wave 35 but we leaked jesters and died :/

so why would i use gatling for crowd control if trapper can do similar job for way less the price?
why would i use gatling for single target when engi does it better for the same price?
gatling just feel out of place now; it isnt bad, but it certainly doesnt feel like it should just be so mid (its kinda like gold mini, where it really only act as a flex but i dont see much practical use of it)
I use Gatling as sub dps and as a good general tower. Just because trapper has the better cc while engi has the better dps doesn't mean Gatling can do the inbetween while not outclassing both of them
Gatling gun allows you to target specific enemies more easily compared to other towers (not the most important but still)
@@tapgames3465 but if you want to fit in that "sub-dps" role, there is pursuit, which I still find better in that field than gatling as you can still somewhat choose if you want a bit more CC or DPS, and as added bonus its rocket can hit lead too. You also don't have to be in FPS mode constantly which might lead to u messing up other stuff. The only advantage I see for gatling is it can hit very specific enemy like fallen jester when you are in FPS but a lvl 175 tower 35k just for that???
@@robowisanveithasung6022 yeah I agree, but I feel like the tower is a bit underwhelming considering that now I don't find a reason to bring it; it feels like other tower can does its job better and gatling does a bit of everything but not really good or a great choice in any specific type of stuff u want it to do.
I would prefer the devs give it a clear purpose. If they want CC in FPS they should increase the pierce to like 5 and lower the damage and cost so its more mid-game oriented. If they want strong DPS buff it back to the old stats and either completely remove pierce (FPS only give inf range whilsts normal have very limited range) or just keep the pierce at 1.5

It Can deal with flying, but only as the jester does. If flying ennemies are in radius while mine explose, they would get hit
