This young man has IT, no ifs or doubts. His instincts are perfect, he knowns his range and he understands entertainment, he knows how to relate to the audience and he really can sell a song. I understand he did not win the whole thing. It does not matter, he has what it takes to go for the long run.

The thing is I, like so many others have noticed, that just like Justin Beiber, Jai came from a place of raw talent and humble origins. The problem isn't that Justin Beiber IS shit, it's that the industry forced him into a mold which _made_ him shit. I went from the this kid's first audition to this video and the mold that's taking hold is already abundantly apparent. It's sad really because there's massive potential in Jai, but instead, the "experts" surrounding him are there to not tend to the growth of the individual that is Jai, but instead to water down his individuality and mold him into another mediocre pop star. The clothes, the moves, the beat, the hair, none of it is him, it's them. And that's what people can't stand.
