Not me already falling through on a weekly vlog :((( Maybe I'll be able to get the next one out today... we shall see haha. I am so pumped about The Dragon Republic!!
I suppose Charlie could be argued to be a version of Carrie that's better off, though I mean...Charlie also has a supportive parent. But yeah, Firestarter is one of the better books. I would say that King is really good about writing Charlie, though Rainbird may end up getting underneath your skin a bit in the later half the book. But I think that's intentional on King's part. I'll try not to say anything more for spoilers, but I certainly loved it. Best book I read last year.
I'm SO close to finishing it now! I 100% agree with you, though. Charlie is Carrie if she had a supportive parent and a lot younger + no bullying haha. Rainbird is... I don't know how to feel about him at all, honestly. I think even for an antagonist he's so... ugh. I know we are supposed to hate him, but there's just something about it that seems so... idk. I'm glad to hear you liked it so much! I will say, of the King books I've read, this one and The Green Mile are probably towards the top of my list!
Love the weekly vlog! ❤🎉
Ahh! I'm glad :) I'm for sure going to try and do more. I just need to be better about remembering to film hahaha
I loved watching this! I hope you're able to make it a weekly vlog =D Also, I cannot wait for our buddy read!! I have such high hopes

Misery is probably my favorite King book. I got me back into reading earlier this year
That might be the one I read next! I love that it isn't too long, but has lots of horror aspects to it.
I need a stephen king video soon
We can tier rank his books by most unhinged concept
Love the vlog! I'm so sad whenever people don't like Sel though :P
