Geno passed the eye test the first game he had when he had to fill in mid game when Wilson had his finger dislocated against Rams. They almost won, if not for Lockett interfered with.

Geno throws 2 INT's where one of those is on the receiver, and I was shocked how quick some of the Seahawks fans trashed him. Rogers throws 3 INT's. And he was given a far more grace on a bad game. A perfect QB does not exist and will never exist. There are tendencies that I think work against Geno. Eg. I think he forces it to DK too often at times. And I also think he is a bit too hard on himself and it can sometimes cloud his decision making. But I my opinion of him as a QB is based on watching every single snap of him while in Seattle. And he has yet to put anything on tape that would even suggest he should be benched.

Just my opinion, but I don't think he wants to abandon the run, but they haven't produced anything on the ground. It would be a different/better gameplan if they could get the run game going early, they're just not getting done up front.

When we (the Seahawks) traded wilson, I wanted lock over Geno because I thought Geno was a known quantity and lock represented youthful upside. Geno proved why I'm just a fan tho and he's one of my favorite players in the league now. Murf helped me see it all along. Love the content keep it up.
I look at Jared Goff who has all day every day to throw and pine for Geno to have that kind of time. Also, I hate to say this but maybe Metcalf is not a true number 1 receiver. The last three games that we played were remarkably close and one of them the Giants won on a flukey field goal block that they returned for a touchdown. The other two teams were former NFC champions and we kept it competitive. Geno made no excuses for his performance on Thursday night. I don't doubt that he wants to win!
Look, Geno isn't the legacy QB like Mahomes, but hes doing a commendable job and on the list of things holding Seattle back, hes near the absolute bottom. Getting rid of Geno at this point is foolish.
I just wish that we had a right tackle, we obviously bought Fant in as redundancy for Lucas and Cross, but he injured in the first quarter of the season. At least two positions on the Oline that are around average or better would be something but 4 of five playing probably below average is almost impossible to work with…

You might be right, it is an interesting thought experiment to replace 2014 Russ with current day Geno… i couldn’t tell you what would happen but I have a feeling it would be similar outcomes. Although Russ back then had an almost magical way of making plays happen when we really needed them. I feel like Geno needs a better team around him to allow for that potential magic again

I was not an early Geno supporter but I grew to appreciate him. I think he is pretty awesome . O line and shooting themselves in the foot is the main issue, Looks like the def needs more ironing out . I am not sure why people think everything is going to run smooth when there is so many wrinkles with a new staff and systems. DK needs to make that next step if he is ever going to be Top Tier elite. What are peoples thoughts on calling an empty backfield on 3rd and short? I do not get it but i am not the expert. I feel like the def does not have to account for a run when you go empty backfield on 3rd and short. I am all for equality it is equity i have issues with.
Some of these people I swear don’t pay attention to any other games. This is probably Geno’s worst game as a Seahawks starter and it was hardly all his play that cost us the game. People gotta have a little more perspective and longer memories. The defense is banged up and is a mess, he was getting consistently pressured the whole game, and our WRs didn’t turn in their best performance either. Mike Mac is a first year HC and Grubb is a first time NFL OC, give the cake some time to bake and stop being prisoners of the moment. Geno has literally been keeping the team afloat since we flipped Russ.

It falls upon Grub to scheme throws for his QB that dont require him to climb the right side of the pocket and step into a crossing route from left to right. You know you are beat on that side 80% of the time. Roll Geno out, or scheme routes that float him to the strong side of the line so he can step up or bail to a location that hasnt crumbled. Right side? Laken Tomlinson sucks and he's on the left and Williams is suspect at center. Cross has been worked the last couple of games against the better DL's too, bro. As for constantly rolling someone out, you essentially cut your field in half and make it easier for the defense. The more field you use the harder it becomes to defend. Doing it every now and then has its benefits, but you can't rely on that. Also, the run game isn't being as impactful...

Best QB in the league is a bit of a stretch and every QB makes mistakes. That's a bit of what I'm talking about: Outrageous standards. Just my opinion, but I don't think he wants to abandon the run, but they haven't produced anything on the ground. When we (the Seahawks) traded wilson, I wanted lock over Geno because I thought Geno was a known quantity and lock represented youthful upside. Geno proved why I'm just a fan tho and he's one of my favorite players in the league now. Murf helped me see it all along. Love the content keep it up.

The last three games that we played were remarkably close and one of them the Giants won on a flukey field goal block that they returned for a touchdown. The other two teams were former NFC champions and we kept it competitive. Geno made no excuses for his performance on Thursday night. I don't doubt that he wants to win!
Look, Geno isn't the legacy QB like Mahomes, but hes doing a commendable job and on the list of things holding Seattle back, hes near the absolute bottom. Getting rid of Geno at this point is foolish.
I just wish that we had a right tackle, we obviously bought Fant in as redundancy for Lucas and Cross, but he injured in the first quarter of the season. At least two positions on the Oline that are around average or better would be something but 4 of five playing probably below average is almost impossible to work with…

I was not an early Geno supporter but I grew to appreciate him. I think he is pretty awesome . O line and shooting themselves in the foot is the main issue, Looks like the def needs more ironing out . I am not sure why people think everything is going to run smooth when there is so many wrinkles with a new staff and systems. DK needs to make that next step if he is ever going to be Top Tier elite. What are peoples thoughts on calling an empty backfield on 3rd and short? I do not get it but i am not the expert. I feel like the def does not have to account for a run when you go empty backfield on 3rd and short. I am all for equality it is equity i have issues with.
Some of these people I swear don’t pay attention to any other games. This is probably Geno’s worst game as a Seahawks starter and it was hardly all his play that cost us the game. People gotta have a little more perspective and longer memories. The defense is banged up and is a mess, he was getting consistently pressured the whole game, and our WRs didn’t turn in their best performance either. Mike Mac is a first year HC and Grubb is a first time NFL OC, give the cake some time to bake and stop being prisoners of the moment. Geno has literally been keeping the team afloat since we flipped Russ.

As for constantly rolling someone out, you essentially cut your field in half and make it easier for the defense. The more field you use the harder it becomes to defend. Doing it every now and then has its benefits, but you can't rely on that. Also, the run game isn't being as impactful...

I get mad at geno when the mistakes are his own, but not because I don't want him to start because of his skincolor. But because I know he could be the best qb in the league if he fixed his minor issues and if Seattle would give him an oline. I almost hope they let him go to a team with a good oline, Geno deserves an offensive line and the opportunity to finally silence his haters.
Best QB in the league is a bit of a stretch and every QB makes mistakes. That's a bit of what I'm talking about: Outrageous standards. He has the same amount of interceptions and TDs and Pat Mahomes and has more yardage, but nobody would ever say that about Pat. Overall, Geno has similar stats to Josh Allen since he's been a starter, at least factoring the same amount of games played, but Josh is thought of as Jesus under a helmet....
