Les has a really great voice for Floyd songs. Killer performance by the whole band here

Best album of Pink Floyd is Animals. The others are just as great but that record is just an incredible listen even now. The tone, frequency, still amazing record. I do not smoke but one day I will hike another mountain peak and smoke and listen to this record. Hope I can find my way back down of course. Love it Lennon/Claypool and company. Love seeing Paulo on drums. McFadden helped me bigtime around 1996 by letting me stay at his house while you were on the road/tour with "Liar". He basically rented out his room and house while I was in between finding a place rather than staying longer at a hostel in SF at the time. Just me. We were friends of friends trying to figure out the time space, and universe I guess. Saw Liar many times that year while trying to figure out my youth. Eric McFadden, Robin Coomer, and Erik Corriveaux helped out. Long time ago. I miss those days. San Fran is a gem and hope it makes a comeback. Congrats on your success Paulo. Many memories living on the corner of Fulton and Webster and taking the amazing transit system that SF has as a 21 year old and witnessing amazing new progressive rock, blues, alternative, pop, psych, etc. I dropped out after 3 years of college. Learned more in 10 months of road trip and experiences of living across the coast from Maine to SF, CA

Saw this show twice last year. Awesome performance. Wish I could see them perform “One of These Days”.

as a keyboardist, I've always wanted to get a group together to play animals and wish you were here

Do it!...over the last few years I've REALLY gotten into Shine6-9 (it's dark, funky, almost like a living requiem for Syd IMHO) & the only time it seems to get played is when people cover WYWH entirely.

😢 usually I think it’s a waste of time to record a concert on your cell phone, but in this case, I thank you very much. Great work.

I guess it was a camera, not a phone.
Edit: it says #galaxy23files, well dayum, that's one fine microphone.

I was right in between Les&Shiner the night before at Marymoor Park. ua-cam.com/video/2kdAG1y2shw/v-deo.html
Got about 98-99% of the show up & there are playlists too for most of these recent full shows I've filmed if you're into that way of watching.

Sean is a much more accomplished guitarist than his dad.

I always had such high hopes for Sean. He’s had a really interesting career with some really cool albums, but I would’ve liked to of seen him. Focus a little more instead of genre hopping. But I think that’s probably because of being independently, wealthy and not having to work. When it’s not your drive and passion to survive it’s just a hobby.

I think his versatility shows his interest in making music, whatever genre. A passion and drive is independent of doing something you love. If you love your job, regardless of the type of work involved, the work you do do is done is with passion, and joy of it runs your drive. Ask anyone who works in social services who does not need to work to survive, like me.
