Is there a way to add the line to assign to a product/service without creating an invoice? For example, we are a small building company, i don't create invoices for our payees. I just write checks. So if i want to add it ABC Electrical, the only thing QBO gives me is a "category" line item, none of which pull from my items list that i used on the desktop version. So i have no way of adding " electrical rough in" to the check and no way to put it towards a specific job. being forced to make the switch from desktop to online by QB has really put me in a bind. I was on chat with QB yesterday for over 4 hours and they were still not able to help me..

Hi, do you have a method for using estimates with products/services while implementing the Completed Contract Method? I'm wondering how to get the products/services to feed to the balance sheet instead of a revenue account(s). Then, how do you release it to the income statement and still have the level of detail from the estimate? In other words, how do I use several products/service lines to see the detail of each one throughout the process from balance sheet to income statement once the work is finished. Hope that makes sense, I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. Thank you.
