At 2:55, it's amazing how quickly nature will take over again when things become abandoned.
I'm guessing this whole rail line is out of service now and possibly has returned to nature ?
I wonder if one can still access the trestle's by foot ? Is there a location you can drive to and then hike or mountain bike the old rail line.
Thank for the video. I am born and raised on Vancouver Island and still live here at 70. I love the memories and history.
    Cheers and thanks again

Yes, nature reclaims her own quickly. The last of the rails were pulled up almost a year ago. It should be possible to get close to the bridges by logging roads with a bit of walking required to get close to the sites. The wooden bridges were replaced with steel structures many years ago. I understand great effort has been taken to block vehicular traffic from accessing the grades. Wind falls might be a problem, too. Thanks for commenting.
