Thank you! It’s been a great mount to use! I’ve already traveled with it and really appreciated its portability. I’m now curious how it would handle my EHD 8.
Very clean and great cable management - do you have a full list of your equipment and where did you get all your equipment? An equipment list would be very helpful. I am getting an AVX mount as a starter but hope to graduate to the AM5 once my CFO approves of my budget (wife).
Great image......shame about the snag thou. The AM5 is definitely ZWO's best product.....I was getting .23 rms the other day for about 20mins but normal is between .3-.5rms. What bortle skies do you have?
Thank you! I'm under Bortle 5. 0.3-0.5 RMS is what I'm also hitting, with the occasional 0.20-0.25. I'm constantly changing things around the rig, especially cable management. Being more mindful of that, plus the addition of the pier extension, has given me peace of mind.
Good video. Kind of annoying that a $2000 mount does not include its $7 power supply. At the very least, that might be mode more clear at the point of sale, so a buyer could order one from Amazon at the same time.
Nicely done. Great information. Excellent final image. Oh, as for me, I now buy USB cables in bulk. Cable snags, don't you just love them? Ha ... NOT. P.S. I just subscribed to your channel.
Cable snags and tripod collisions are where the EQ6R-Pro has an advantage. The mount saddle is high enough to minimize the risks. I absolutely love both mounts, but if I’m gonna travel, I’m definitely reaching for the AM5 first.
well done....keep 'em coming. Your rig is sweet
Awesome video and very helpful for a beginner like myself. Thank you.
Great job! Totally amazing!
Thank you friend! Hope you're staying safe!
Very nice image! Your setup with AM5 mount is great! I think I should also get one for my EdgeHD 8 telescope...

I am also interested in the AM5 Pier Mount...that may help with collision issues.

Did you end up buying it?
