BTW.. This was another good video. My Dad just bought some Terra Sweet Potato chips thinking they were healthy because they are sweet potatoes. Failing to check the nutrient facts and ingredients to see all the fat, sugar, and salt that was added. Not to forget that it's also fried which makes things more palatable too.

I know keto is really restrictive and probably something Scooby is against, but damn is it effective. Basically, you are forced to watch the labels and can not eat packaged foods ( or better call it sweets ). I lost 80 lbs in 6 months and was stunned. I am not low carb now, but anytime I want to slim down a little, I do a month or two of keto. I use to do crazy crash diets ( low calorie + insane amount of exercise ) and still progress was slow. It was torture mentally and not sustainable. I am more of a cardio guy ( because I really enjoy running and biking ). I know I should do weight lifting, but just can not stick to it though. When I try to do everything ( cardio + weight lifting ) I just get overwhelmed and give up on weight lifting.

@@steffenpetersen2103 All fruit naturally contains sugar. Fresh fruit doesn't have "added sugar", just the naturally occurring fructose. A fresh banana isn't injected with added sugar.
It's the dried fruits and sometimes frozen fruits that contain added sugar, so you need to eat them in moderation, if at all.

Hi TheScoob, what can you say about vital wheat gluten or seitan? I've just started using it as another protein source since it's pretty low in calories and high in protein. Would love to hear what your opinion is! Been following you since skateboard squats were a thing. Cheers.

Thanks for this info. What’s your tale on frozen fruits? Sometimes I make smoothies out of those. Any ingredients I should look out for in those, or are frozen fruits pretty much no good?
