This vac reminds me of my Bissell opticlean canister. Same bagless container thing for use instead of the bag. It's the best vac I've had. Great suction and it's been used for the past 8 years. Fantastic for cleaning out the car.
Actually the vacuums branded Hotpoint in the 80s were produced by Siemens, not Bosch. I remember one of the uprights had a dry cleaning function similar to the Sebo duo which came with Sapur powder. I think it was the "Electronic de luxe" model. I'd love to see one of those on your channel some day but that's unlikely as they are ultra rare now.
Hotpoint was estabished in 1911 and has been selling electrical appliances in the UK since 1920. Hotpoint were selling vacuum cleaners long before the Light N Easy.
You are obviiusly much younger than me. When I was growing up the cleaners I used were a Hoover Junior model 375, an Electrolux 64 cylinder and a Hoover Junior model 1334.

Abrupt ending! Anyway, interesting machine- I look forward to seeing how it performs.
I lost some footage. Anyway, most people don't watch the videos all the way through.
ibaisaic you're making me feel like I ought to get a life!
You can still watch my videos to the end and have a life. I make the videos and I still have a life. 😄

I know Hotpoint made vacuums long before the light an easy, but growing up, that's the model I most remembered.

Oh right. At least it wasn't one of my double entendres.
