Nice one man, that’s a smart head unit. I was surprised at (a) the low cost, and (b) how shallow they are without built-in CD players! I retrofitted a Sony Bluetooth head unit to my old Rover 45 a few years back, a fantastic unit but looked a little cheap and tacky. Kenwood do a double-DIN unit for VW Group vehicles, but you’re talking serious money. This one fits the bill and was great value. Enjoying the channel mate, keep up the good work 👍🏼

Mate, first of all fantastic video. Secondly, do you reckon i could fit a sat nav display type stereo in that same exact car ? If so what are some of the models of stereo i should look at? Thanks
This was super useful, thanks so much for making this! Just about to purchase the same stereo for my Polo 02 reg. Do the silver prongs that help you remove the radio come with the stereo please? Happy to buy separate but want to avoid a double purchase. Or it could be that they aren’t necessary. Cheers!

Just passed my test, got the same model of car and about to install the same model of radio, super useful vid, thx.
You’re very welcome 👍

Good look with project.
My 6N2 original radio has drained battery , had to remove fuse.
Don’t know what to do.

Yes you could fit a double din system by removing the cubbyhole compartment. 👍
Hello mate have you any idea what colour the reversing line is?
I am sorry I do not.
Don’t you need to switch the red and yellow wires for vw’s for the memory functions to work otherwise is just resets every time you start the car
If you can find a permanent live then it will hold memory, or run a live wire from the battery to the stereo.
My autoradio Din2 reset itself anytime I start and move my vw polo 9n. Do u have any idea what I can do ?
Bt you don't show us how to install new radio using the new bracket
Installing is the same as removing 🫢
bloody brilliant - thanks ! 'useless of bethnal green'..

They come with the stereo, they are quite flimsy and you could use flat headed screwdriver quite easily.
i have the same car, but i was wondering if it would work with a touch screen head unit?
Yes, both 1din and 2din will work.
Hello does your car have a key with remote, to open and close doors?
No just a single non remote key
great video, thank you!
Youre welcome
