- Jiangsu's Li Qizhen's amazing qiangshu (spear) at the 14th All China Games. He had the highest overall performance score in the division with a 2.806 and it really shows!
Unfortunately, due to a deduction in his quality of movement he ended up not placing in the division.

He deserved the gold... These games were unfair...
I feel like they need to rework how much quality of movement deductions cost you. Or increase overall performance weight. In gymnastics and ice skating, mistakes still cost you, but one small mistake doesn’t kill you if everything else is really good.
I will say they were relatively consistent and fair in deductions though. Most of the top competitors got deductions this time around. Generally didn’t matter if you normally win the event or had won at worlds.
BTW, I'm not sure what the deduction was, but I'm assuming it was his horse stance at 1:05. Feet pointing out 45° or more.
@@bluehippofilms I don't think so , in figure skating the points are not compulsory to be given under 10 , they can go up as much as the competitor is capable like 110 or so and that's just in short programs , a fall cost them 1 point and looking at the bigger picture that's nothing , and that system of unlimited scoring can't be implemented on wushu cause then the person who do like 10 nandus will win 😂, for obvious reasons .I think current system promotes just the right balance between nandu and wushu , and shows that how much of a perfectionist sport wushu is , one mistake and you are out despite of your status in wushu world , this also helps in having less scandels and favourable scoring towards a specific athlete , and I thinks that's just amazing , figure skating world is to filled with scandel and their scoring system is why '
