I don't often comment here but this fixed the problem with a friends laptop beautifully. HD7570M with Intel HD4000 on an HP dm4-3112tx. I couldn't update the drivers at all causing corruption in the CCC but following this process and uninstalling everything then re-installing them worked a treat. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much, seriously! I've installed the amd catalyst driver so many times but the display driver won't show up. Turn out it was because I choose "express" instead of custom installation, so that's why only catalyst control centet would be installed.

for every one who has switchable graphics i had done these methods 1. you must update the intel driver from display adapters in device manager if you had one 2. (then you will see by clicking on right click on desktop (graphic options and graphic prop this is the most important thing you must see that you have graphic options ang prop to be able to update the amd driver and get switchable graphics choice 3. then you can update your amd driver and it will work it had worked for me

Hey man, I don't think so, that you need to buy new pc :D But let me know, which graphic card you use and drivers you tried to install? There is alwasy some problem with ATI drivers and windows 10 seems to install some random drivers afterwards.
Also it's not only about reinstalling. If you have any other issues then the first move is to uninstall AMD correctly, like i shown in the video :) But i'm glad, that reinstalling worked for you.
i've successfully installed my updated driver. but when i open CCC , on power setting and performance settings are there, no gaming settings, etc. most of the majority settings are not there. can u help me?

Yeah, I've been uninstalling and reinstalling for about 3 hours now with 14.9, nothing, when I open AMD Catalyst Control Center on my desktop when I Right Click, all I get is the loading circle next to my mouse for about 3-5 seconds and nothing follows. I have these black bars around my screen and its really bugging me, its been like this for 3 months now. can anyone help?
Take a look at two last section in my description. Some of the users have tried leshcatlabs.net/ and it fixed their problem. And If you are Lenovo, HP or Toshiba user, you may need to install AMD drivers from laptop manufacturer site. Drivers from AMD site may not work for you. But when you strart uninstalling your drivers, then follow steps like shown in the video.

It's really hard to understand what you're saying and when it is that you're cutting your video out. At 1:58 I don't know what you said and about 3 seconds later you tell us to restart our computer "again". When was I supposed to restart it the first time? When the window came up to ask if we wanted to restart you click on "no" so I'm really confused now.

Hi, I'm having an issue with my control center. I am not able to see the switchable graphics portion under the power tab. If I right click on the desktop and then click the "configure switchable graphics", it just pops up with something random like the Hydrabox settings. Whenever I go to play a game it doesn't switch to the Radeon card and stays with the Intel card. I also have no option to change what graphics card to use for each application inside the control center. Any Ideas?
karatechick1408 Sorry for that very late answer, but go to BIOS Setup Utility and check, whether you have switchable graphics option or not. If it's there, then change it to fixed. Fixed mode allows you to manually choose your graphics processor setting. Other option is dynamic, which use AMD when an application requires more performance. Also, if you are interested in getting fixed mode back, the following will help you out. @showthread.php?t=393375 (NB! It may not work with win 8 and it's only for For Enduro and PowerXpress Systems) Afterall, if your laptop is plugged in, it should use AMD graphics.

You can do some power changes when you open up AMD Radeon settings: Home icon (bottom left) -> Preferences -> Radeon additional settings (upper right) - wait a few seconds and CCC light should pop up
i have dell inspiron 14r and has hd 7650m back in win7 but when i clean install to win10 after installing hd7650m driver from dell website i cant use my lappy anymore during booting windows it kept saying logonUI error and the desktop screen keep flashing black over ang over.Do i need to install back to win7 in order tu use hd7650m?because i think hd7650m not supported in win10

I have a problem.My laptop's graphic card is Radeon HD 8800M...and when i installed the Catalyst Control Center, the screen went black and nothing happened. The screen remained black even after a day! So i rebooted my PC and it said that there's a problem with my pc. So i reset(format) the PC. And everything worked perfectly except the graphic driver. When i try to installCCC again, same problem. This is not the first time. I've done this for a week! What should i do? My OS is windows 8.1. Please help me! :(
While I was uninstalling the drivers and such, there was no AMD Driver in the device manager after I uninstalled CCC and the other things in that step, is that an Issue or am I fine?
You can check out, if amd driver comes up after you reboot your pc. But i think, you will be fine. Install new drivers and if you don't get any serious error, then you are ok.

Hello, I am trying to install windows 10 from a bootable usb thumb drive. When I boot into usb thumb drive to install the windows 10 os I get the error message: "Windows setup could not install one or more boot-critical drivers. To install windows, make sure that the drivers are valid, and restart the installation." Please help me to resolve this issue.
At very first be sure that you dont have nothing in DVD drive. #1. Go to your BIOS settings and set the storage boot to UEFI first or UEFI instead of BIOS legacy. #2. Try to boot from the USB stick and install Windows. #3. If it still does not work and you have more than 1 SATA drive then open your PC and unplug all your SATA cables and leave just the one with the drive on which do you want to install Windows. #4. Try to boot from the USB stick and install Windows, if it works then you can plug the SATA cables back to your other drives after you have installed Windows. I hope it helps

It's waste of time to try method like shown in the video, if you want to try display driver uninstaller then don't follow the steps like shown in the video. With display driver uninstaller: First you need to uninstall AMD and then Intel. After you need to install Intel and then AMD. Take a look at Install Package Failure or Code 43 section in my description :)
Zain Zain Take a look at "Install Package Failure or Code 43" in my description, if you want to use display driver uninstaller, follow the instruction. At UnifL site download latest 14.4 version, it's work. Don't know about the other versions, does they work or not. And actually i think that mobility driver and desktop are pretty same (if not the same), but yes, if you have laptop then just in case download mobility driver.

I got 4530s laptop and everything was working perfectly till one time I hibernated. Now the drivers are broken and nothing is working. I spent a week and now it seems that the drivers are installed back again but in CCC there is no option for power so basically I can't switch to high performance and use the AMD card. any advice how I make the power settings menu make visible ?
You can try these: 1. Go to C:\Program Files\AMD\CCC2\Install and run ccc2_install. Restart. If you don't have this, skip to the second solution. 2. Go to C > Program Files > ATI > CIM > Bin64 > and run InstallManagerApp. Restart. After installation in the same folder run ATISetup. The solution may install missed components properly. Give me feedback, how this worked out.

TheAivons It's important to uninstall AMD correctly. If you just uninstall amd from control center and then reinstall, it won't work. I think there's missing some of the components so it won't display all options. Did you followed my tutorial how to reinstall amd? Did you tried these solutions i mentioned above? Also you can try to uninstall only CCC by choosing first option in amd catalyst install manager. And then you reinstall your CCC from the right installation package. But i think, it mess things up... Best way is to follow tutorial, so you completely uninstall it and then installing correct drivers. If you are Lenovo or HP user, you may be need to install AMD drivers from laptop manufacturer site. Drivers from AMD site may not work for you.
I have got my laptop open automatically with automatic refresh, because this is 1 second to second grade, so if I do not know what I can do here, then I can install it before installing it.
If you have problems with catalyst control center, then follow the steps and everything should be fine. Don't know about power option, but if you have two graphics card on your desktop, then yes, there should be switchable graphics option. Does the option was there on the first time when you received your PC?

I've been wanting to update to Windows 8.1 for a while but I don't want to risk it and downgrade back to W8. when i first bought my lappy... i had an AMD graphic in it... i was able to run games from going to the AMD control center .. by right clicking ... now that i updated my graphic.. i can no longer see the AMD control center.. i games are laggy now... can someone help me... i also tried driver rollback ... but in vain :/ ..

Right click on your display device and choose Properties > Driver tab.
Select Roll Back Driver,and its all ok again

Hakkasin siis mõtlema et see pole normaalne. Praegu laen alla dell lehelt niiöelda ena arvutile kuuluvat driverit. Panin delli lehele enda product code et saaksin õiged driverid mis sellele loodud. Loodame et töötab. Naljakas on see et uninstallisin absoluutselt kõik võimaliku AMD jama ja siis kui arvuti tööle panin hakkas loopima ette errorit "You do not have the correct graphics card installed etc..." Mingi aeg kunagi mul isegi töötas see amd kaart aga arvuti läks emt-sse ja sellega tehti paar asja. Peale seda suht mitte midagi ei funktsioneeri. Delli driverid ka kiviajal tehtud ausõna. Viimati oli updatetud seda driverit mida laen aasta v isegi kaks tagasi...
Nagu paljudel on olnud youtubes ka video... Kes kasutavad AMD lehelt laetud drivereid probleemideta...Mina pole mitte ühtegi sealt tööle saanud.

Pelan ka cs:go, mängus sätted jne miinimumini viidud, a fps on max mingi 120 kuskil, 5n5 ajal. Ja kergelt kuumeneb ka tegelikult. Suht ruttu läheb prose 80 kraadini välja, aasta aega olnud läppar, vb peaks seest puhastama. Mis sul muidu fps mängus olnud ja palju prose kuumust on?

Yeah, I've been uninstalling and reinstalling for about 3 hours now with 14.9, nothing, when I open AMD Catalyst Control Center on my desktop when I Right Click, all I get is the loading circle next to my mouse for about 3-5 seconds and nothing follows. I have these black bars around my screen and its really bugging me, its been like this for 3 months now. can anyone help?

And If you are Lenovo, HP or Toshiba user, you may need to install AMD drivers from laptop manufacturer site. Drivers from AMD site may not work for you.
But when you strart uninstalling your drivers, then follow steps like shown in the video.
Now I have the same problem my amd doesn't work and it make error for windows says : " your pc is ran into a problem and needs to restart" I tried catalyst and crimson and 2 version of win 10 and 8.1 still doesn't please if any one can help me reply

At 1:58 I don't know what you said and about 3 seconds later you tell us to restart our computer "again". When was I supposed to restart it the first time? When the window came up to ask if we wanted to restart you click on "no" so I'm really confused now.

Hi, I'm having an issue with my control center. I am not able to see the switchable graphics portion under the power tab. If I right click on the desktop and then click the "configure switchable graphics", it just pops up with something random like the Hydrabox settings. Whenever I go to play a game it doesn't switch to the Radeon card and stays with the Intel card. I also have no option to change what graphics card to use for each application inside the control center. Any Ideas?

Sorry for that very late answer, but
go to BIOS Setup Utility and check, whether you have switchable graphics option or not. If it's there, then change it to fixed.
Fixed mode allows you to manually choose your graphics processor setting.
Other option is dynamic, which use AMD when an application requires more performance.
Also, if you are interested in getting fixed mode back, the following will help you out. @showthread.php?t=393375 (NB! It may not work with win 8 and it's only for For Enduro and PowerXpress Systems)
Afterall, if your laptop is plugged in, it should use AMD graphics.

Do you had the switchable graphics option before? Mby it's driver issue, when it doesnt show up.

You can do some power changes when you open up AMD Radeon settings: Home icon (bottom left) -> Preferences -> Radeon additional settings (upper right) - wait a few seconds and CCC light should pop up
i have dell inspiron 14r and has hd 7650m back in win7 but when i clean install to win10 after installing hd7650m driver from dell website i cant use my lappy anymore during booting windows it kept saying logonUI error and the desktop screen keep flashing black over ang over.Do i need to install back to win7 in order tu use hd7650m?because i think hd7650m not supported in win10

Did anyone experience that the install manager does not show the point Catalyst Control Center? I tried plenty of tutorials already but could not succeed to install this driver.
I have a problem.My laptop's graphic card is Radeon HD 8800M...and when i installed the Catalyst Control Center, the screen went black and nothing happened. The screen remained black even after a day! So i rebooted my PC and it said that there's a problem with my pc. So i reset(format) the PC. And everything worked perfectly except the graphic driver. When i try to installCCC again, same problem. This is not the first time. I've done this for a week! What should i do? My OS is windows 8.1. Please help me! :(

While I was uninstalling the drivers and such, there was no AMD Driver in the device manager after I uninstalled CCC and the other things in that step, is that an Issue or am I fine?
You can check out, if amd driver comes up after you reboot your pc. But i think, you will be fine. Install new drivers and if you don't get any serious error, then you are ok.

Hello, I am trying to install windows 10 from a bootable usb thumb drive.
When I boot into usb thumb drive to install the windows 10 os I get the error message:
"Windows setup could not install one or more boot-critical drivers. To install windows, make sure that the drivers are valid, and restart the installation."
Please help me to resolve this issue.
At very first be sure that you dont have nothing in DVD drive.
#1. Go to your BIOS settings and set the storage boot to UEFI first or UEFI instead of BIOS legacy.
#2. Try to boot from the USB stick and install Windows.
#3. If it still does not work and you have more than 1 SATA drive then open your PC and unplug all your SATA cables and leave just the one with the drive on which do you want to install Windows.
#4. Try to boot from the USB stick and install Windows, if it works then you can plug the SATA cables back to your other drives after you have installed Windows.

It's waste of time to try method like shown in the video, if you want to try display driver uninstaller then don't follow the steps like shown in the video.
With display driver uninstaller:
First you need to uninstall AMD and then Intel.
After you need to install Intel and then AMD.
Take a look at Install Package Failure or Code 43 section in my description :)

Zain Zain Take a look at "Install Package Failure or Code 43" in my description, if you want to use display driver uninstaller, follow the instruction. At UnifL site download latest 14.4 version, it's work. Don't know about the other versions, does they work or not.
And actually i think that mobility driver and desktop are pretty same (if not the same), but yes, if you have laptop then just in case download mobility driver.

I got 4530s laptop and everything was working perfectly till one time I hibernated. Now the drivers are broken and nothing is working. I spent a week and now it seems that the drivers are installed back again but in CCC there is no option for power so basically I can't switch to high performance and use the AMD card. any advice how I make the power settings menu make visible ?
You can try these:
1. Go to C:\Program Files\AMD\CCC2\Install and run ccc2_install. Restart. If you don't have this, skip to the second solution.
2. Go to C > Program Files > ATI > CIM > Bin64 > and run InstallManagerApp. Restart. After installation in the same folder run ATISetup. The solution may install missed components properly.

I managed to get the ccc finally from the right installation package but there is still no power options. Any advice how to make it appear again?
TheAivons It's important to uninstall AMD correctly. If you just uninstall amd from control center and then reinstall, it won't work.
I think there's missing some of the components so it won't display all options. Did you followed my tutorial how to reinstall amd? Did you tried these solutions i mentioned above?
Also you can try to uninstall only CCC by choosing first option in amd catalyst install manager. And then you reinstall your CCC from the right installation package. But i think, it mess things up...
Best way is to follow tutorial, so you completely uninstall it and then installing correct drivers. If you are Lenovo or HP user, you may be need to install AMD drivers from laptop manufacturer site. Drivers from AMD site may not work for you.
I have got my laptop open automatically with automatic refresh, because this is 1 second to second grade, so if I do not know what I can do here, then I can install it before installing it.
So will I still get the switchable graphics option and the power menu if I have a desktop?
If you have problems with catalyst control center, then follow the steps and everything should be fine. Don't know about power option, but if you have two graphics card on your desktop, then yes, there should be switchable graphics option. Does the option was there on the first time when you received your PC?

Open up your device manager, right click on the Display adapters and then choose Scan for hardware changes. Does the intel adapter shows up?

Hi, I have the Dell Inspiron 15 3521 with AMD 8730m and Intel HD 4000 integrated in the processor and with Windows 8 SL 64bit.

Hi, have you found fix for your bios issue. The tutorial don't mess with bios at all, so i don't believe that it can affect bios somehow.

when i first bought my lappy... i had an AMD graphic in it... i was able to run games from going to the AMD control center .. by right clicking ... now that i updated my graphic.. i can no longer see the AMD control center.. i games are laggy now... can someone help me... i also tried driver rollback ... but in vain :/ ..
