You can actually activate them, as long as you weapon swap tech to despawn and respawn them right after, they don't die and the buff gets off lol. Just gotta make sure none are dead at the time to avoid the revive messing it up since they will not insta respawn if the timer is on

I've done something similar. You shouldn't so the 30% more health in trade off for less damage especially if u have cleric skeletons. Give perk points and crystals into damage. For anyone else the wand or whatever that gives you two skeletons also is the worst one late game as shown in the video and from personal experience having the malice skill is so good. Being able to put critical weakness on enemies that go near you makes the minions melt them. That's why all late game witch builds use them.
Appreciate yah for this build. Was pushing to T13 maps but was in 1 hit territory with my life stacker build. Just respecced into reavers and grim feast is already a life changing mechanic.
@@syph5487 Yea, they get stuck in short corridors. I have Raise Zombie as the hot fix until they repop. GGG will fix this I'm sure. Still, they map very well for me if you have a bunch out and they just drop bosses like flies.
While I understand that this is early access, I spent a considerable amount of my resources to beef up the skeleton arsonists + quality + gem links XD I wish you would also rank the support gems in order of priority as not everyone has 4-6 links.
arsonists are still baller imo. the nerf meant i lost 2 of them, but I upgraded my amulet which previously had no spirit to one with spirit and then took out the cleric I was running and now I have 3 additional arsonists. I've tried this build and variations of it and tbh, I find it a little clunky and frankly, more button-spam heavy that what I'm looking for. with arsonists, i can just chill and spam flame wall. :D
Nicee, i am a bit fed up with arsonist build too much screen cluttering, cant see shit. I'm also fed up with curse using soooooo much mana, every time i pop curse i need to chug a mp flask. Curse is not up on mobs most of the time anyway, only good for bossing.
It has a reason why 99% of elite infernalists play arsonists. It IS much better. The dps might be lower but they fire and hit, while melee skeletons are just running to enemies most of the time.
Hello! It called an implicate, which means that particular chest pieces always comes with an innate spirit roll. I can't open my game rn due to the patch to tell you the exact name of it but its shown in the video
Thank you for the guide, just a small question, I find that skeleton warriors can also apply poison and break armor with the relative gems, wouldnt that be better than the archers since the hound can now apply the burn? I find that they break armor just as well in boss fights and relatively inexpensive in terms of spirit.
You seem to have a knack for cracking builds. I've been toying with an idea: it seems that Zombies from the Raise Zombie skill, specially when Empowered, deal more damage than any other minion we have. I've been toying with the idea of running Profane Ritual and Raise Zombies for main damage source while using Reavers as bleed bots (reavers bleed, snipers break armor) and, specially for bosses, using the Sacrifical soul gem to target my own skeletons to get power charges, with a 50% chance (25% from passive tree and 25% from support gem) of not destroying a corpse, leaving the minion intact. Zombies last for 20 seconds and kinda hit like a truck, but I don't believe I have the gear to make it work quite the way I'd like it to work just yet. Are you up for trying out the idea and helping a fellow summoner out? (:

Yup. They’ll raise it so they match brutes. Then warriors will have to match what reavers used to cost. Then snipers will have to go up to arsonists. Then arsonists will have to go up again to reavers. Etc etc so on and so on.
@Goblin-Inc They have goons watching any new build guide video to look for things they feel shouldnt be there on their personal opinion... Every build guide I've found has been touched by the nerf hammers so far. All of them.
They will try to nerf everything that works well. The challenge is to use that build before they nerf it. They are fast at nerfing but still need 3-5 days.
Could you make a leveling guide for Witch? Many of us are new to PoE 2 and would like a leveling build to help us get to the point that these videos are relevant. I find leveling to be rather slow and the drops for skill gems and support gems to be very rare. I just hit 24 and I feel like the witch just can't kill anything quickly. Further, I never have enough Spirit for more than a few minions and I end up relying on zombies more than anything. I think I would enjoy the game if I felt I could find a minion leveling build that I enjoyed. Right now I run around with Bone Spikes, gas arrows, and hope I can get some corpses up for zombies before my minions die. They seem to die very quickly unless I dump loads of points into increased minion health. Am I doing something wrong?
Do you recommend running this pretty much the whole way through? Or would it be better to run the fire build to a certain point and then switch skill gems out?
The buffs to chaos dot were primarily end game meaning you'll still want to swap into minions around the same times suggested before. This reaver setup actually comes very naturally from the leveling build, so feel free to start with that and then swap into this around level 75
How do you solve the bug about melee skeleton's AI problem or something. they frequently stop when they encounter a narrow path. Sometimes, they just stop right there; even if there’s a monster nearby, they won't attack!
im watching and seems like not all the reavers are able to get to the boss to even get a hit sometimes due to collision. I think im going to use them mixed with rangers or the arsonist. Or finally use the mages.
Yes this definitely true and you really notice it against small bosses. Currently the setup does so much damage that its not a huge issue, but its certainty something to keep in mind
I have been running reavers, snipers, a single cleric, the 2 warriors from my sceptre and a pair of brutes as well as pain offering and it has been working nicely for me.
Great stuff my man. I’m level 74 doing tier 5. Trying your build as I go. Do you use Malice skill you have on your sceptre? If so, what does it do exactly?
If you can spare the support spot I believe there is a gain 4% life on kill for the supported skill, might be worth throwing onto the reavers for more tank until you reach a boss?
I think you misread the support gem at 5:04. It's still the best option, but the effect is only 30% increased. The 30% more is specifically related to bone offering, which itself has a damage component.
2 skeletal brute with all armour breaking gem are better and faster vs skeltal sniper imo and you don't have to cast or worry about conflicting with hellhound. It's a 104 spirit investment but it's worth it. *Edit: If you can drop feeding frenzy or martial tempo for Discombobulate, it's even better for boss killing as the armor-breaks gets even more significantly faster.
@@mcarr416ix do the side quests. They're there. Unless you already used those spirit gems then, I guess you have to find out how to farm for them or make a new character just to get another spirit gem from the act 1 to put in your stash

You lose too much defense for it. It's possible to run it but essentially lose out on max res. I think if you're super over geared you could consider it, but in general I would pass
@Goblin-Inc I heard you need to corrupt a t15 into 16 and then slot into a map with irradiated for the +1 lvl. Im not sure if it needs coalesced corruption as well for an additional +1 but the ballpark you're aiming for is lvl 82 monster level.
the ai for arsonists it ass too. every 10 seconds they're body-blocking eachother. so obnoxious. I solved it by just having a weapon swap to de-summon them and 1 second later, resummon them. most of the time tho, i just wait around for them like the lazy bastard i am. :P
It is and its okay for mapping. On bosses though it wont do anything because the poison will break all armour. Worth noting that if you do want to play it, run with hexbloom to spread it easily
I’ll be honest the reavers are absolutely stellar in open area maps. Anything else and they are beyond subpar to arsonist. One reaver gets stuck in a doorway or arch and whereas the arsonist would cast over each other the reavers just stand there literally cutting your dmg into 10%. Minion pathing is terrible atm hopefully the develop a fix to allow them to potentially stack a little tighter.
After i heard they were nerfing the inferno minions i went straight to you to change my build. Only thing i wanna know is, on the skill tree is there and order to which nodes i should take first? Im level 65
To be fair I only lost 2 minions but it's still a dps nerf. They still slap though, but your build has proven viable. Haven't seen an inferno do what yours has
@Goblin-Inc have you considered using bone blast for extra armor break? It has decent support gems specially for boss fights when there is nothing to detonate.
Is there a way to run this as a level 79 witch? I am at T5 maps not deep and im probably poor when it comes to scaling but would like some sort of help making this work. Something to make mapping faster as I think 15-25m a map at t5 is pretty bad. Also I am only at gem+3 atm. I could vaal for 4 supports but not viable for me to get 5 at all, rather poor.
Reavers are just not good, i tried the build. Even with Arsonists nerfed, i went from 16 > 12. They are still better than this, melee skeletons are so ass they MOVE too MUCH to get to elite mobs or mobs in general ,range just insanely wins. ALSO in Small maps with labyrints they DO NOT MOVE they get stuck in corners, while arsonists shoot from far away, this build ain't it, but thanks for your guide anyway. A small note on the bosses, my 12 arsonits do 1 million dps in 2 seconds, ignore the nerfs and just go arsonist, if you have not gotten to at least 1 million dps on them in under 3 seconds, you are doing something VERY wrong, and my arsonists are only 4 slots, my Pain offering doesn't even have 4 slots, only 3 slots.
i got a sceptre 139 spirit 39% increase spirit allies get 30% dmg 28% crit 10% attack speed 15.5 regen life , 20+ accuracy its bit broken got it at like lvl 40 still got it at 70 lol
The defensive kit is very dependent on infernalist so you would have to solve for that. Damage wise it should be fine. I'm not sure how to build gemling defensively with this setup though, but if you can figure it out itll work great
There's a few different sources. You can get a %spirit roll on your Scepter, flat spirit rolls and chest and amulet, and you can also get it from your ascendancy where you convert some hp into spirit. Chest and necklaces also have bases that have spirit baked in, meaning you can get 2 spirit rolls on 1 item. Also make sure you get all the free spirit from the campaign, you should have 100 base once you're done
The real question is how do you get to play these minion in maps like mire and augury. They get stock on every bridge / doorway it makes my life miserable lol
You can annoint it with oils from delirium. Open your passive tree, hover over heatproofing and then either press shift or cntrl and it will show next to its name the necessary oils to get it.
@ there’s a difference between changes and outright destroying builds making them non playable. They didn’t tune them back they nerfed them into oblivion. This game has been in development for almost 6 years if I’m not mistaken. I didn’t expect the game to be perfect but the nerfs don’t make sense

I copied your build but tried to get some es charge nodes instead of crit damage, chaos minion res etc (also got some jewels for it) Is the strat literally burst everything and stay away? 😂 I find only that part of this build rather annoyinf, when I just cant get my es back up at boss fights (Idk if you mentioned a solution for this in your other videos I might have skipped over it) Looking forward to try some other minions. I'm glad you enjoy the content! The loss of damage is too high, it's much better to just run the 1 Archer to break Armour and then run full damage gems on the reavers
It's actually a decent option for mapping because you don't have to cast the Archer poison. However I find the damage to be better just giving them another multiplier instead of break
Do people hate zombies? Plagued, withering, empowered zombies carried me through most of the campaign. I never see them on streamer builds or maybe i havent been looking hard enough.
In my testing they are a bit too slow for mapping and are very hard to get on bosses. They require you to run additional pieces to generate power charges, which typically ends up getting out performed by more standard minion builds. That being said, I do plan on dedicating some times to zombies later
@@agamerandyou9854the skills are half of the build, what is your gear? Do you have +minions on helm, sceptre and amulet? Also at 71 you won’t have all of the nodes within the passive tree nor max level skill gems

you can read it with in you skill tab, its an aura so its always on

I use Lust for Sacrifice as your minions get 40% more dmg when using 2 offerings. I use dark effigy just to not sacrifice a skelly
Thats a great node but are you sure Dark Effigy is counting for it?

You should be able to find 2 more guarenteed spirit gems for other spirit abilities in Act 2.

I switched to this after the changes to check it out. Seems very strong, BUT the AI for reavers is painful in tight maps.

Is there a way to run this as a level 79 witch? I am at T5 maps not deep and im probably poor when it comes to scaling but would like some sort of help making this work. Something to make mapping faster as I think 15-25m a map at t5 is pretty bad.
Also I am only at gem+3 atm. I could vaal for 4 supports but not viable for me to get 5 at all, rather poor.

Reavers are just not good, i tried the build. Even with Arsonists nerfed, i went from 16 > 12. They are still better than this, melee skeletons are so ass they MOVE too MUCH to get to elite mobs or mobs in general ,range just insanely wins. ALSO in Small maps with labyrints they DO NOT MOVE they get stuck in corners, while arsonists shoot from far away, this build ain't it, but thanks for your guide anyway. A small note on the bosses, my 12 arsonits do 1 million dps in 2 seconds, ignore the nerfs and just go arsonist, if you have not gotten to at least 1 million dps on them in under 3 seconds, you are doing something VERY wrong, and my arsonists are only 4 slots, my Pain offering doesn't even have 4 slots, only 3 slots.
i got a sceptre 139 spirit 39% increase spirit allies get 30% dmg 28% crit 10% attack speed 15.5 regen life , 20+ accuracy its bit broken got it at like lvl 40 still got it at 70 lol
Do you think this build might work on a gemling?
The defensive kit is very dependent on infernalist so you would have to solve for that. Damage wise it should be fine. I'm not sure how to build gemling defensively with this setup though, but if you can figure it out itll work great

How do i get more spirit. Mine doesn’t seem to increase at all
There's a few different sources. You can get a %spirit roll on your Scepter, flat spirit rolls and chest and amulet, and you can also get it from your ascendancy where you convert some hp into spirit. Chest and necklaces also have bases that have spirit baked in, meaning you can get 2 spirit rolls on 1 item. Also make sure you get all the free spirit from the campaign, you should have 100 base once you're done
what about adding in some Brutes?

The real question is how do you get to play these minion in maps like mire and augury. They get stock on every bridge / doorway it makes my life miserable lol

You can annoint it with oils from delirium. Open your passive tree, hover over heatproofing and then either press shift or cntrl and it will show next to its name the necessary oils to get it.

Yes! I actually played reavers while leveling and they were very strong

@ there’s a difference between changes and outright destroying builds making them non playable. They didn’t tune them back they nerfed them into oblivion. This game has been in development for almost 6 years if I’m not mistaken. I didn’t expect the game to be perfect but the nerfs don’t make sense
If your arsonists are doing 200k dps then you have built it wrong. Mine easily do 1m+ when fully buffed
Did you go fire pen any or flat dmg?
@@nateturk7298 pen is never worth it since resistances on monsters cant get below 0 in poe2, and with flamability and exposure they are at pretty much 0 res

You would need a very different setup, this is fully reliant on the infernalist ascendancy unfortunately

Also I have a question. How are you dealing with es recharge start/rate at pinacle bosses? I copied your build but tried to get some es charge nodes instead of crit damage, chaos minion res etc (also got some jewels for it)

I find only that part of this build rather annoyinf, when I just cant get my es back up at boss fights (Idk if you mentioned a solution for this in your other videos I might have skipped over it)

Man reavers suck on maps with narrow path and they get stucked, at least arsonists could range attack the mobs if that happened

The loss of damage is too high, it's much better to just run the 1 Archer to break Armour and then run full damage gems on the reavers
@Goblin-Inc couldnt you put in splinter on the last slot maybe so they break armor with their high phys dmg ?
It's actually a decent option for mapping because you don't have to cast the Archer poison. However I find the damage to be better just giving them another multiplier instead of break
Do people hate zombies? Plagued, withering, empowered zombies carried me through most of the campaign. I never see them on streamer builds or maybe i havent been looking hard enough.
In my testing they are a bit too slow for mapping and are very hard to get on bosses. They require you to run additional pieces to generate power charges, which typically ends up getting out performed by more standard minion builds. That being said, I do plan on dedicating some times to zombies later
Respeccing is too painful... may re-roll to new char, don't want to spend 500k-1M to try a new build. I only have like 400k gold too.

Also at 71 you won’t have all of the nodes within the passive tree nor max level skill gems
