I really wish gran turismo had some type of free roam in the game to drive around, maybe like a very small little city with streets to test drive cars.
Maybe it's because I'm more biased towards open world racing games but I guarantee some people who play gran turismo will agree with me.
I definitely agree, small map with like a 3-4 mile radius or more would be pretty fun

They added “meeting spots” on certain tracks which is as close as it’ll probably get for now, but maybe in the future they will add something similar to what you’re looking for

Apparently the 2JZ can fit in the S15 in GT7.. saw a video on Twitter of a guy that got the engine, installed it in the S15, and made a D1-style build. Make sure to look out for engines in the roulette tickets.
They need to put another way of getting engine swaps cause its a really sick feature.

You can add wide body and cosmetics, just don't add cosmetics and then wide body because it will remove them. You have to put on the wide body first.

Not that it's an update just it's applying one before doing the other like real life. Most would put the body kit on sense it's the major work and then add the details on that require less work. Same applies with putting a new engine in it'll remove everything you put on the old engine.

Slap you should definitely try the type 2 wobble cam in cockpit view when drifting, it looks insane.

If you put the wide body kit on 1st then you can attach other parts. If you put parts on then try to add body kit it will remove them.

I thought it worked the other way around. If you fit custom parts and thén the widebody it removes the parts. But if you put the widebody with the parts 'over' it they will stay. Seems logic too.

I'm not a fan of PlayStation, but this game definitely makes me want to buy one just to play GT7. I used to play GT4 when I was a kid. All of the previous Gran Turismos were lacking all the vibes the original GTs gave me. But GT7 brought everything good about the old Gran Turismo back. It's perfection.
I completed GT4 at the age of 10.

If i remember correctly it only gave u HP if it was used oil beforehand.
So if you bought a used car it would give u some horses back.
Also u did lose some HP after driving your new bought car for a while. So the color of the oil changed, and if you replace it with new oil you got your horses back till the next time the oil was old and needed to be changed.
Don't got gt7 so far, so i don't know if that's the case now aswell.
You can add cosmetics after you install the wide body, it just clears whatever you had on it if you install a wide body after customizing

slap, if you go to the livery editor and go to the search decals section and type Japanese, there's a bunch of Japanese license plates for your cars. it's pretty cool

The smoke is the biggest improvement but the game needs increase the sense of torque in turbo cars.
if the cockpit camera moved longitudinal it would increase the sense of speed and torque.

with patch 1.06 the smoke is now gone. first thought it's a bug. actually liked it the way it was before.

you can still add other cosmetic upgrades after widebody you just have to widebody it first
I think we need an updated chase cam mode though. That view isn't good for drifting imo... Maybe just an extra one we can toggle too, while still having the original style. I hate cam fixed to the rear bumper with modern physics.
Your skills are crazy! Coming from Forza I'm find gt7 drifting crazy hard on controller. Tweaked a 2015 mustang to feel similar to Forza... Crazy traction model is grip or ice and it's too easy/sensitive to over correct ...
Slap you gotta try the old sport hard front, comfort hard on back with a 4wd car - i had do much fun with that back in gt6 days!

You can wide body and put the comestics on the car. But you have to widebody then custom.

You can add carbon lips etc after fitting the widebody, bit the parts you buy for the non windy body will not fit on the widebody. Makes sense though

@@TheSLAPTrain1 noice!!! I don't think I can go back to regular T3PA pedals. How have your set of T-LCM been holding up? Mine developed a click under the loadcell and the brake pedal hinge. A quick blast of silicone spray made it smooth as budda.

@@nerdnec try watching some Formula Drift man and imagine a chase cam behind those drifting beasts. It's almost exactly how smoke from drifting behaves (except the smoke don't last too long in GT7 than in real life)
Also it seems realistic as the smoke gets pulled by the car's aerodynamics.
Anyone else not pickup FH5 recently because it just makes you sad that you don’t have a ps5 and can’t play gt7, because that’s where I’m at.
How do u use both th8a and handbrake with t-gt? When I connect one of them to ps5 it doesn't work
Enjoying the content on GT so much, Killin it with drifts(Thank You so much Slap), I just can't wait for Slap to do a "Wheelspin-ish" video on GT when he gets alot of tickets...you never know, he could possibly get a new engine(grab that 2JZ or K20)
