And so I played it, but little did I know that this would be the song that would make me reconsider the things I did that night... So, almost ten years later, I am grateful that I didn't give up. Hopefully I don't get laughed at for this, but I'm a 35 year old woman and this song just moved me more than most anything else I've ever heard. From around age 14 I was clinically depressed (my dad died of cancer, family problems, etc.) and cut myself for over a decade. It was something you hid back then, something shameful, and we had no BVB or anything like it to listen to. I can't help but wonder how much different my life would've been if I'd had this song. It may be a decade late but I'm glad I found this, and even though I'm fine now, it helps to know someone gets it. I know they'll never see this comment, but BVB, thank you for writing this song, and thank you for giving a shit. And to all the BVB Army people here, I'm probably too old to join your ranks, but I can assure you it gets better :)

I know how you feel hun. I'm 17 and suffer from clinical depression and I started cutting about 2 1/2 years ago. I didn't have stuff like this till about a year ago and about a year and a half ago I got really low and tried to kill myself. Luckily I chickened out because of my family because I didn't want them to suffer again like they did when my mum took her own life nearly 6 years ago. But ever since I've found bands like BVB, BFMV and so on I've got a lot better. I stopped cutting in November and I haven't thought about killing myself for months but if I ever feel low and like I need to hurt myself I listen to my boys and it makes me feel so much better. And like you say BVB are amazing people and I love them all to bits for helping me through hard times

I saw something on Facebook earlier that was so touching. A BVB fan passed away and their family and friends brought a banner to the concert in their memory. Andy requested for it to be passed to the stage and they dedicated their performance of this song to the young fan.

When I started middle school my saviors in my first year was bring me the horizon then sleeping with sirens and pierce the veil in seventh grade and then pierce the veil still in eighth grade and I started listening to bvb when my classes ended so I’m going to start high school with black veil brides and they have been the biggest saviors yet if that makes any sense

I know how you feel hun. I'm 17 and suffer from clinical depression and I started cutting about 2 1/2 years ago. I didn't have stuff like this till about a year ago and about a year and a half ago I got really low and tried to kill myself. Luckily I chickened out because of my family because I didn't want them to suffer again like they did when my mum took her own life nearly 6 years ago. But ever since I've found bands like BVB, BFMV and so on I've got a lot better. I stopped cutting in November and I haven't thought about killing myself for months but if I ever feel low and like I need to hurt myself I listen to my boys and it makes me feel so much better. And like you say BVB are amazing people and I love them all to bits for helping me through hard times

I saw something on Facebook earlier that was so touching. A BVB fan passed away and their family and friends brought a banner to the concert in their memory. Andy requested for it to be passed to the stage and they dedicated their performance of this song to the young fan.

Black Veil Brides and My Chemical Romance are the reasons I'm still mentally living. Without them I wouldn't be here. Now, I'm not saying each of the members came and held me and told me its gonna be okay. But they just sparked something in my head that said everything is going to be okay. There is no need for all this arguing in the comments. Some people love BVB, whilst others hate BVB, and that's ok. The only reason there is so much verbal conflict here is because there is just that handful of people who must learn that there are places to express their opinions, and places where they just should not say anything.

So what if someone likes to wear black all the time? Just because they are a little different, that does not make them inferior to you. You don't think black people are inferior, do you? This is pretty much the same thing as racism. You're trying to cast out a certain group of people from society just because of the way they look.
Don't put people down just because they're different to you. If you're really that "good person" you say you are, then you should easily be able to open your eyes, touch the part of the grey matter in your head that you don't normally use, and apply it to accepting that not everyone in society is the same, and that they're not going to suddenly change just because _you_ want them to.
