around 8:00 that clamps is called a "stitch pony" iirc , it's used for making knife sheaths too, great vid, thanks EDIT : Another vid "Idahoan show" channel uses only pop rivets and i wanted to do cross stitch , it hit me real "jeans" used both for durability , if i don't see metal rivets on jeans to me they're not "jeans" anyway so i guess it's good , i have pop rivets too...thanks again
I normally just lay the pistol down and mark the corners and add about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch to take in to account the bends and leather thickness. The motivation for that style came from an old Myers Made holster my uncle gave me. If it’s a little snug after you sew it up you can always wet the leather and stretch it with the gun in a ziploc bag.
Thanks for showing how it is done.
A few months back i bought all the leather tools to make KNIFE sheaths for my knives
I have everything you have
Thanks,
It's a lot of fun! I just wish I had more time to do it!
Great craftsmanship

What are you measuring and how do you come up with your patterns.
