Man…After working with Ajith for three consecutive movies, this guy still says cinema is just his profession and not passion. Hats off for sticking with his beliefs.
Ajith Sir also shares that belief...the reason he stays away from the high profile that his star status brings is because he has laser-precise clarity that acting is just his profession. He acts because the producers pay him and have faith in him that he will be a good return on investment for them, and if his performance bolsters that, he considers it a job well done.

@@atatur123 We not liking our jobs doesn’t matter as much as a superstar not liking his job. He is in a position of power where he can literally dictate the quality of the movies output. And taking that for granted is inexcusable.
@@ddtheone1 I would make the case that it is not that he doesn't like his job. He has stated on multiple occasions that he is thankful for a fanbase that has allowed him to sustain such a career. On set, he believes that his duty is to bring the director's vision of role to life. Nothing more, nothing less. It's why he has little to no inhibitions about playing morally grey roles that other image-conscious "super-stars" would shy away from.

You can see from (under) his eyes that he's completely drained out. Yet, he's still giving back to back interviews. His urge to make Thunivu the Pongal winner is real! Let Thunivu win just for this man's efforts even after shooting!

What an interview... Nowadays in social media everywhere I'm seeing the topic "Thunivu Or Varisu". But the main person interview and there is no single word I am seeing " Thunivu " . Extraordinary interview. Hats off to the team 👌👌👌

This interview sets an example as to how an interview should be. Starting from the first question, both of them were true to their core. Being truth to their core and not being diplomatic about the answer and at the same time they maintained a decorum. This is a much more interesting interview than all other so-called cinema interview channels. Kudus Baddy. Great work. I am amazed by the way you form the questions man. Many congratulations.

What clarity from Vinoth! Valimai had some great moments but ultimately it was mauled by the stunts and unwanted scenes. Here’s hoping we see this clarity in Thunivu (a glimpse at least) in an AK fest of a film.
